Note: if you do not know much about the Wife of Bath, or this Challenge, watch the above video, and look at the link below. I have decided that since this is a letter, I am going to keep it brief.

My Gap-Toothed Love,

Yes, we had some fun, but I think that this has to end. For my part, I loved the time we had together. You were always witty, charming, beautiful, stroking my...ego, and a perfect companion on all our trips and travels (hope that the trip to Canterbury is nice). But I have to be honest with you this one last time...

I'm so tired!

I know that you have had other husbands who were too old to...perform, but I am still a young man. I have plans and dreams and I will never get this poem done if I can barely move out of bed.

So, I have to say goodbye, and all the best with the next one on the line.

You should know that you will be playing a key role in this tale, and that I have made provisions for your welfare (not like you need it, but I take all precautions).
