Climate

About The Beach

Banana Boat Ride

The nature of this activity is difficult to put into words. It is a bit similar to the Bumper Ride in terms of its unpredictable movements. It is definitely a very challenging task holding on to your seat while against the tides while being on a boat with such a peculiar design.

It consists of participants being seated on an inflatable banana shaped boat which is then attached to a speed boat which then pulls it across the water at high speeds. It really puts your balance to the test.

Speed Boat Ride

A trip to Candolim Beach is considered incomplete without a ride on the speed boat. It's an easy and comfortable activity and doesn’t involve too many unpredictable movements. It’s recommended that people do it in groups, especially with friends and family.

Nightlife & Clubbing

The nightlife here is one of the main talking points. Most grow dull after sunset but not this one. The party scene here is unbelievable and goes on late into the night. There’s tons of bars, night clubs and restaurants here for visitors to enjoy their stay.

It is a great place to come with friends and even for couples post sundown. However, it's not exactly the best environment for families, especially those that have young kids.

It is one of the most well known party sports in town. It usually takes less than 15 minutes to drive to the club from Candolim Beach. The club is super-chic and is highly recommended for all the party animals out there.

SinQ Night Club is arguably one of the most happening places in the state and aims to offer a quality lounge/club experience. The club also has a wide variety of options when it comes to beverage and dining along with amazing ambiance overall.

One of the features that set the venue apart from others of its kind is that it offers four different entertainment zones under one roof. Guests have the option of choosing between heading to the Goan Tavern, the dance floor or the bar, going for a swim or lounging around the poolside deck.

It even offers opportunities to various electronic artists that keep up the beat with their live gigs and performances. The dance floor though is not the biggest around but visitors can hang around in the outer corners of the floor. It’s easier to accommodate larger groups and it also offers entries to couples but stag entries are not permitted though.

Club LPK - Love Passion Karma

Brief Description:

The club is one of the most renowned nightlife spots in the entire state of Goa. Although it is located in Nerul and not Candolim, Club LPK is less than a 15 minute drive away from the beach. Hence, many tourists from the beach still come and visit it.

It was shifted to Nerul from its original location and is surrounded by water from three sides. There are some competent DJs over here that play a mix of Bollywood, house and trance music for all its guests.

It has an incredible ambiance and a cool dance area too. The Love Passion Karma sign along with the leading lady has become iconic and is now a common photo-op among visitors.

Cohiba Bar & Kitchen

It is another well rated club that is situated on the Aguada Fort Road. It takes hardly 15 minutes by car to reach here from Candolim Beach. Even the SinQ NightClub falls within walking distance from this venue.

It is an open air restaurant cum bar which is set up near the beach and also offers scrumptious meals to visitors. They’ve even featured live band performances on Saturdays.

It even has separate areas for kids so parents can leave them there while they party hard at the bar. It is one of those places that is equally popular among locals as well as tourists.

Other Activities

The beach and in fact even the town in general are a great place for the shopaholics. There are several shops here that are on the fringe of the Candolim Beach where tourists can purchase several items such as bags, clothes, decor, handicrafts, etc. Some shops can even be found along the Candolim Beach Road as well which is near the beach.

The town has numerous restaurants and beach shacks that offer delicious food and beverages.
