Some More Life Philosophies

The thoughts should be insightful

Let me share some thoughts and life philosophies.

rom the black bulky probiotics book in the left to the slim pink book on the right are a few of my published books. They are only a small selection. I don’t yet have copies of many others.

And those four spiral notebooks on the left? They carry a different story.

For the first ten years of my student life, I studied in a non-English medium school. My English, though not bad, was not high quality. I knew, I needed it sharpened.

So, I built it, consciously. I read high-quality magazines, newspapers, and books, and whenever I encountered unfamiliar words, I wrote them down, page after page, volume after volume.

Those notebooks are evidence of my effort, discipline, and determination. I have carried them with me to this day as a reminder: when you are willing to learn, it’s always attainable.

The social media is a platform we are given to reach out to people.

Here, we can impress, amuse, inform and inspire.

In my view, impressing is lowly and inspiring is the noblest.

What do you think?

April 7th is World Health Day. It's nowhere as popular as Valentine’s, though health is even more important. Sigh.

It’s my sad experience, people have very low-level awareness on the rules of health. And healthcare industry is taking advantage of this ignorance.

Why this art? That’s our family’s triumph.

Just a pair socks protected my son’s feet and healed his eczema. He did not suffer and turned into a happy, learning-focused kid.

If I had not controlled eczema that way, it would have turned to food allergy and even asthma.

Understand inflammation. What causes it? How to minimize it? It’s necessary. Save yourself from unnecessary irritants.

I had read the quote by Rumi, ‘keep doing good, and float the work in the river. One day that good work will appear in the desert’.

I believe in that. Though being a hard-working science person, I never stopped doing arts. Today, when the job market is not very nice, art gives me the opportunity to earn flexibly from home.

SpaceX satellite launch viewed from our backyard.

I always keep track of the schedule and watch it.

The view is not always spectacular due to weather conditions. But today it was clear sky, and it turned out impressive.

I am not very tech-dependent but am curious and need guidance.

So, I have ChatGPT Plus subscription. One day I told it, “You helped me a lot. Without you, I could not have done it.”

ChatGPT told, “It’s all in you. I am just walking beside you”.

The reply is more human than human. I painted this theme.

My 3.5-year-old son saw a patch of aloe and recognized it. That made me very happy, even emotional.

I told both my kids that one of the most celebrated naturalists in the world Attenborough is now a hundred years old, which means his time on this earth may not be very long.

So, I told them a new generation of naturalists is needed, to help a world that is in danger. They both nodded.

My six-year-old daughter said, “Mommy, if in the future our name appears in some magazine or news, it will be because of you, because you taught us.”

That made me very, very happy.

Today, I came across this word called kapicitta. It means monkey mind.

It did not take me long to understand the meaning because I come from India and this world is from pali which is not very different from Sanskrit.

So, kapi means monkey and citta is mind. So, our mind sometimes becomes like that of monkey and tries to create nuisance.

We can tame it by below ways. I thought this photo and themes perfectly with this group’s goal of peace.
