Challenges and Wins

Ebbs and Flows

Look at all the lines

One day I awaken inside of my heart as I listen to the ocean waves, the birds chirp, and the sound of the wind. As I awaken the truth comes to me, and I know my heart is strong and real.

When thinking about the movement of life we have ebbs and flows, and challenges and wins. As we glide along our daily activities we wake up to achieve the world and bring our best forward. However there might be times our best does not come through. Sometimes we fall, and sometimes we rise to the top. Either way is OK, because it just proves how powerful we really are.

If our life was one continous line it would look a little scattered. Our line does not just go straight it goes up and down and in and out. As the Earth and God provide us with what we need life does not always go smoothly. As we walk in nature we feel relaxed. When sitting by ocean we are so calm. But some times our journey in life is a little bumpy. We laugh, we cry, and we love and sometimes hate. Therefore, our line is a little wavey at times.

When you are having a bad day/week/month just know this to will pass. Try to mentally think to yourself this to will end, and I will be walking in a straight line again. Sometimes when I have a hard time I think of things that make me laugh. I am not going to lie I am not always happy, but I try my best to be. Life will throw challenges at you that you may not see coming, but then give you something to be happy about.

I get my stress out through photography, writing, and music. All of these define me. I also get my stress out through socialization. I love being social. In my eyes everyone is my friend and cherish all conversations good or bad. Are there days I am frustrated, YES? Are there days I wish I could curl up in ball and speak to noone, YES? Are there times I think to myself why, YES? But even with all the obstacles I have in my life I have so much to be grateful for.

Lets get back to talking about ebbs and flows. What does that really mean? Ebbs means receding movement of a tide. Which really means weakening of a tide. What does flow mean? It means move along steadily. So when we look at our life you can see the metaphor.

I would like everyone who reads this article to do this one thing. I am not joking this is real. I would like you to stand up with your arms out by your side. Stretch them our as far as they can go and relax them while going side to side. Basically this will give you a flowing movement. You can get fancy with it if you want. Create a wave with them being out. Now close your eyes and see how you feel. You will feel an energy that relaxes you. You will feel the strength you need to feel.

When we get stressed we tense up. Our neck is tight and stiff, and our chest feels heavy. This will remove some of this. You can even relax your shoulders. Now that you are in a good head space think about all the good that has come to you in your life. Forget about the bad. Honestly, I feel that is the problem in this world it is so easy to feel bad, and not so easy to feel good. Get that thought out. No more this is to your new happy life.

In our lives we will always have ebbs and flows, and challenges and wins. It is the strength that is inside you that will get you through everyday. When you wake up in the morning say to yourself, "I Got This." Think in your mind no matter what it is going to be a great day. I am going to make my day flow the way I want to.

I am sending everyone who reads this positive energy, and hugging you all.
