A Feast of Words
Some amazing subtitle here, or also known as blah blah blah
Served up a feast
Took hours to make, at least
It was a full ten-course meal
Full of seasoning and herbs
Called a masterpiece, displaying some nerve
But here’s the deal
It was mostly left untasted
So the majority of it was wasted
You don't want good meat
Preferring the sickly sweet
Bypassing the fulfilling
heading straight to the cream filling
Loving the sugary concoctions
Over the bread and butter creations
Chasing each bite with wine
You complain if chewing takes time
Refusing to try something new
Denying that this is all true
The saccharine taste you dig right in
You wipe the cream from your chin
So here’s your honeyed cake
Which only I can make
It may not be what you were expecting
But this is the delicacy I am selecting
So enjoy this little rhyme
I whipped it up in no time

The short form of tomorrow is never the whole story. Abbreviations mean nothing when we are born to die and we all are aren't we? Being spoken for before birth is something we're not supposed to remember like some kind of karma after effect. Still here we are spending our lives looking for each other.

Wonderful words and concept
I loved every delectable bite of this delicious poem. It also makes me want to go read all the hearty meat and potatoes you've slaved over that I've missed. Maybe after my son's wedding I'll get the time. Also, your picture reminds me I owe you a huge thank you. You mentioned in a comment that you've had better luck with Gemini than Night Cafe. I've been using it for my last few stories. But I also was able to create a picture for my future daughter-in-law that put her in her wedding dress, at her venue, with her grandmother and cousin who have both passed on. It turned out so well and I never would have been able to do that with Night Cafe. Thank you so much for helping me make that possible for her.
