Itās a curious thingā¦
What captivates one
Rates āZeroā for another.
Click! Click! Click!
I ignored it
stepped swiftly over
the snaking electric fence.
Not so, my playful puppy!
His twitchy wet nose
like a sailor drawn to
the āSirenā call
Crashed upon the ragged rocks!
Touched the tape.
Zap! Crack!
Shock!
Yelps of surprise sent him haring off.
His nose sought safer spots to snoop!
