Every Teardrop Cry’s in Vain
He will not change

Every Teardrop Cry’s in Vain
Every teardrop cry’s in vain,
they scatter into dust.
The earth absorbs them quickly,
and never gives reply.
They fall like broken stars,
burning for a breath.
Then darkness swallows whole,
and silence claims their fire.
I cry until I’m empty,
but still the pain remains.
For every teardrop wasted,
cannot undo the wound.
I whisper into shadows,
asking for release.
But shadows hold no answers,
they only stretch the night.
Every teardrop cry’s in vain,
though still I let them fall.
For tears are all I own,
in this barren place of loss.
If wishes rode on water,
perhaps they’d reach the sky.
But my tears stay earthbound,
never lifting me away.
I see the floor is shining,
with sorrow’s fragile pearls.
Yet none will bring me comfort,
none will heal the past.
Every teardrop cry’s in vain,
yet I cannot hold them back.
For even useless weeping,
is better than the void.

One must let the tears fall for if we do not let them fall then we burst. Good job.
