He is Football Crazy

This reminds me about the song my Mam used to sing

He is Football Crazy

Football-crazy men, with their constant roar,

Chasing after goals, but wanting more and more.

The shouting, the cheering, the never-ending game,

Each match a battle, but all just the same.

Their hearts beat in sync with the referee’s call,

Fighting for glory, for pride, for it all.

The crowd’s electric, the energy high,

As dreams are born and sometimes die.

I watch from the sidelines, feeling the strain,

Wondering if it’s worth all the pain.

A world of obsession, of passion, of drive,

The game’s the only thing that keeps men alive.

Soccer and American football seem to have the same effects on viewers and players. I do know they are different sports, and I like soccer better for I can most of the skills involved at one time. Good job.
