Heartbreak lake
I sit there awake
How many sad days
Does it take
To run me dry
My life’s drama
Is dripping out too much

My lifeline is disconnected
Peace didn't want to chime in
So many bad decisions
Life stare is wrenching

Pull my ears out to listen
I can hear my heart
Slow down
The light that powers me
