Looking for Love?

No subtitle

By Ann CrafterPublished about 4 hours ago 1 min read

Damned are those “looking for Love”

As if it is a pair of old socks

Or a forgotten gas receipt.

Those who barter with heavens above,

Or sort through heart-bound locks,

Will never know their own deceit.

Mindless hunts never did attract Love,

As if it were dull deer or predictable flocks.

Instead, it is patient, often in retreat.

This is such trouble, and more than enough

Reason to let your personality out of its box.

Find beauty in your soul, then just repeat.

After a bit, you may learn something new:

When you give Love space,

Love tends to find You.
