Suicide

Broken inside

My hand begins to tremble

As my finger starts to squeeze

The barrels to my brow now

As I rest upon my knees

Tears slowly seeping from the corners

Of my eyes though unable to

Openly cry. Throat dry

Because I can’t control the war that rages

On inside that which is I

Take a shallow breath, release a sigh

As the hammer falls and the bullet flies

Ah, the pointlessness of suicide.
