The strongest people are rarely born brave; instead, they learn how to comfort themselves early on.

It is not that they don’t need anyone, but rather that when they needed someone most, no one was there. So, they learned to talk to themselves in the darkness, to hold themselves tight on the edge of collapse, and to grit their teeth through the moments when no one responded.

This strength was forced to grow for the sake of survival. Even now, they rarely ask for anything, yet they are always willing to give, to understand, and to be gentle. They act this way because they truly understand pain—the weight of being ignored or abandoned while still being forced to move forward.

Few people realize that beneath that strength lies a soul that once desperately whispered, "I wish someone would catch me." So, if you have someone like this in your life, please remember: they don’t need more praise for their resilience. What they need is to be treated gently, and to finally be cherished.
