What My Poetry Means to Me
No one could ever imagine

What My Poetry Means to Me
It is the breath I never speak aloud,
a whisper that hides behind my eyes,
a place where the world softens,
where silence finds its sound.
It is the truth I cannot tell,
wrapped in verses and small confessions,
each word a step through the dark,
each line a reason to keep walking.
It is my way of feeling twice,
once when it happens, again when I write,
a mirror turned to memory,
a heart that refuses to fade.
It is freedom in quiet disguise,
a world that listens when no one does,
the one place I can always return to,
the one thing that still feels alive.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites
