The Advancements of Technology
Welcome to the 21st Century, where almost everybody owns or have owned at least one digital device, whether it is a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop, a desktop, an e-reader, a digital camera, a smart TV, or anything else that they have come up with in the last 10 minutes that I have not caught wind of yet. With the rate that Apple pops out with their plethora of idevices, it really would not shock me too much if I missed out on the premier of something new while sitting here typing my little heart away. Smartphone technology is still relatively in its toddler stages and already has dominated the industry. It is rare, although not unheard of, to see someone with a basic cellular telephone or without a cellular device at all for that matter. I was driving home the other day I and ended up behind a school bus in the midst of unloading its passengers. I watched the expressions on their faces as they walked along the sidewalk smiling down at their smartphones… wait, WHAT?! Every single one of these kids were sporting iPhones and other types of hundred dollar mobile devices right along with their Hello Kitty and Transformers backpacks. I couldn’t help but to think about how different things were back when I was growing up. After Christmas break, you may have seen a kid or two on the bus with a new Sony Discman or a Gameboy Advance but other than that we did things that I seldom see young people do, such as talk to each other or read a book.

SkyBell Wifi Video Doorbell Protects Your Home
Whenever I travel—which I do more frequently than most—my house is usually left unattended. I generally don't ask anyone to house-sit or have any of my family members or friends check up on my home, because I'm usually gone for weeks, not just a couple of days, and that's a big favor to ask.

The Sideclick Remote Attachment Will Change the Way You Stream TV
How many times have you lost your tiny remote for your Apple TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV? In addition to your streaming device, there's also your remote for the sound bar and the television itself. I personally have a basket that's full of different remotes for different devices. We've all seen universal remotes like the Logitech Harmony, which can control up to eight different devices. But with the Sideclick remote attachment, you can control your Amazon Fire TV Stick or Apple TV remote while controlling your TV's basic functions. Sideclick snaps onto your streaming remote, making it easy to hold and hard to lose.

Oculus Go Review!
Facebook VR has now arrived!! I hope you're as excited as I am, because this is my unboxing Oculus Go review! I am a fairly new user to virtual reality myself, but I very much believe in it's future. Imagine being able to travel anywhere from the comfort of your home and see if you actually like the place before visiting in person. Imagine a world where if you see a therapist or psychologist that you can just put on your headset and meet with them virtually. Are you a gamer? Imagine a truly immersive mmorpg setting! The world of VR has to some regard been around for decades. But for the first time in many of our lives, a truly immersive virtual world is possible.

The Future Is Now!
When people think of the future most of the time they think of what can happen. When I think of the future, I think of Japan. Japan? Yes, Japan. Japan is way ahead of everybody on this planet. If you do not believe then you would need to read this as I tell you how Japan is in the future. The United States can learn a lot from Japan. I do not know how Japan can be ahead of us in technology when they were isolated for so long.

Marpac Dohm's White Noise Machine Will Give You the Best Night's Sleep. Top Story - May 2018.
When I had my first child, it was an absolute nightmare to put her to sleep. She was so sensitive to noises that she would immediately wake up from the sound of a pin dropping. What was worse was that we were living in a small apartment at the time and I couldn't tell if my neighbors were wild animals or humans! There were times when I actually had to hit the ceiling with a broom to shut them up. Even though I was desperate to move out, my husband and I still didn't have the money to get a house.

Who's Listening
The entertainment industry is scrambling for money. Commercial cinemas are competing head to head with home audio systems. Yes, there are forum posts with actual cost benefit of buying a home theater system vs going to the movie theater. The music industry is scratching for every cent they can make by cross advertising product and pushing social celebrity status. Couple all of this with every kind of person alive trying to hit it big on every kind of reality show and social media outlet available, we are faced with a hard economic fact: popularity pays and it has never been harder to be popular.
