“Rather weighty, this.” - The Mummy Returns: Rise of the Scorpion King I feel like that quote applies with my heart. I think about that heart versus feather thing sometimes, and my heart feels so filled with all the weight of my emotional luggage. As it is, sometimes it even physically feels like I’m lugging my heart around within my chest.

Szilagyi/Tepes Reaction to the Movie
I would have done things differently. That Mira/Mirena character? Weak in ways I wouldn’t have been. When she cried and told the movie Vlad not to let her son be taken away? That’s what I mean. I wouldn’t have simply looked on after my son as he went off to fight for a country that had never done anything good for our country, our culture, our very way of life. I would have refused to let go of him until Vlad had fought them off or at least negotiated his freedom. Something.

Crimson Peak Reaction
You all know who I am. You all know who I am in this too, and I’m not who you’d expect me to be by my title, my reputation as such a baby-stealing, slut-favoring, sexuality and kink head. Yes, that’s who I am, and my womb is necessarily Purgatory as well. Don’t make me laugh.

Strigoi: Chapter 2
What does one say about having been raped in front of a group of people in order to get out of a manor one has been stuck in? Yes, I was also the butterfly, though you will laugh at that. I know exactly who were the two real moths, as opposed to the posited two in the movie. If you’ve ever seen anyone beheaded, especially a butterfly, you know what Crimson Peak means.

Strigoi: Chapter 1
What it’s like to be the wife of a count. Boring, stately, expectations of you all day long, ramifications of his decisions as to what to do about the region, two countries warring for control of yours while yours tries to claim its autonomy. Oh, and we had barely enough of an army to pose a threat and only to one side of it, and that was the side that was semi-peaceful since they had good political relations with us via one relative- me.
