Hi I'm Joe Patterson. I am a writer at heart who is a big geek for film, music, and literature, which have all inspired me to be a writer. I rap, write stories both short and long, and I'm also aspiring to be an author and a filmmaker.

Brad Macon: The Dad who brought me back to Bible Study
As a kid having bible study was a big deal in my family. My mother had it with me and my sisters on a weekly basis. As I grew into my teen years and early adulthood I went to church periodically but didn’t really go to bible study anymore. It wouldn’t be until I started back going to church with my best friend that changed everything. Going to church with my best friend introduced me to my adoptive family, the Macons and the father of the family, Brad Macon, is the dad who brought me back to bible study.

How to get a Top Story
At least most of us know the feeling right? That moment when you’re checking your Vocal notifications, you start reading the comment section on one of your latest stories and you see people congratulating you on your top story. A rush of energy and dopamine overwhelms your emotions. You’re like a little kid inside all over again and you have a cheesy grin on your face that’s forced it’s way there and refuses to leave. Yeah, that’s top story energy.
