July 1, 1964
July 1 is Canada Day sort of Canada's Independence Day, I believe, but actually July 1, 1964, is my birthday. This is the month of the dog days of summer as well as our Independence Day. Believe it or not I chose the image of the flag and soldiers for I was born the month that Americans started to be sent to the Vietnam War and all those issues Vietnam caused. Canada Day is Canada's day of freedom and for those who need to make some serious choices in their lives. Thank you soldiers for protecting the baby I was.

Dork Drabble #14
Dork Drabble #14 and the question is 'If your life were a classic fairy tale which one would it be and why? For this one I am not really sure, but at times I think maybe 'Rumpleskiliton' or maybe 'The Three Bears' or maybe not a fairy tale but a nursery rhyme "Where has my little dog gone" (Do not remember this title). My other idea that my life could be 'The Three Billy Goats Gruff' for the troll under the bridge is the one keeping me from completing what I need to do for each day in some way.

Dork Drabble #13
For Dork Drabble #13 the question is for February 15 is 'Your school is putting on a play! Would you rather be the star of the show, the director, or the costume designer? Actually, out of these three I would be the costume designer, but I would prefer to be on the crew for set design. Being part of the artistic portion of the play that does not require acting and lines to memorize. Costume or set designer is a very creative and on opening night you can relax till time to change the scenery and hoping nothing falls down.

Dork Drabble #12
Dork drabble #12 the question is 'Tomorrow February 13 make a list of family and friends you'd like to give a card to on Valentine's Day? Actually, one would also want to include many certain family members that may not be around anymore. The people that I would like to give cards to would be my mom, dad and older brother even they are gone to a better place. There are a few cousins I would send a card to as well. Technically I would probably make a homemade type of card to send to all of them that day.

A Nonsense Story
The other day I was thinking of a story, and I saw one of my old writing textbooks and was looking through it for some ideas I read again some of the exercises. That is when I was thinking about a nonsense story of just a collection of sentences. Who knows it just might make sense in a way. Please comment.

A Farm
We stood there face to face with an entity of a kind. Slowly the entity materialized. Before our eyes a woman appeared, but she just seemed sad. We asked, "Who are you?" "I am the great-great-great-great-grandmother of the owner of this farm and this is the house that started it all. I was hoping someone would see me in the window for it seems very few can see me, and I was surprised when you came to the door." We said, "We cannot still call you entity, so what is your name and how can we help you now, Miss?

A Farm
We stood there for a moment, and the door was still open and all of a sudden the door closed, but not with a slam but with a kind of welcoming feeling. We both spoke up. "Who's here?" In the cold fireplace a fire was started, so we both walked over to warm up a bit. There was not much to this house, but this one room. We looked around. We felt a presence around us. We heard a whispering voice. "Can you help me? I want to go home." "Who are you? We will not hurt you." Please tell.
