I picture you, my Moon-Muse, Milky, cream-eyed, sloshed across the silver river You painted that slice of heaven crimson
hold up, can’t pay for your bill Or the other paradigm shift: “We can make it just fine with this little amount of money.”
I made a portrait out of your squeaky, sweet, beautiful voice, I made it run colors so wide and loud I drained it and pulled out the yellow
lightning, you come up from the ground Like a rare flower Muse-Eyes, dangle
greased up, the hottest day of the summer I was thinking why was this longitudinally-mounted 3.0-litre engine kicking on me—-
hold me tight, my tumors growing I feel it inside My glowering black water showering My heart with tightening Hold me tight, I’m like a child
I learned to live as I drown My father saved me from drowning But now I get that feeling As I breathe this putrid air I am drowning
is this lady of blue stained beauty You, Jane Possibly flowering her milky green glory Toward my very tired eyes, awakening me again
is lonely in a look? In a Sunday afternoon Lingering waiting for your returned envelope Stamped and ready to open Yet my steps toward the mailbox is stifling
Night air, love in the middle Of a cold pool It’s cool and dark and we’re so stormy Look up at that sliver of green patch,
ping your verse to me I’ll sing you back a favorite beat Dream in pings (Which song do you want me to sing?)
