Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons below. On Tuesday September 10, Somers traveled to Byram Hills High School for the first dual meet of the season and banking off Exit 3 of 684 turned out to be a bit of a prelude for the run. “I wasn’t really into all the sharp turns on the course,” said Mia Sandolo. But she still managed a third place finish, and her teammate did the race one better.

At Reis Park, the girls faced Lakeland, and the visitors didn’t have much buzz. Somers Holds on to Avenge Last Year’s Loss to Ramapo
Please see tip, pledge and subscribe buttons below In game one of 2023, Somers lost to Ramapo on a last second controversy, and the rematch has been circled on their calendar for a year. A 40-14 3rd quarter lead for the Somers, the marking was probably in bright red, but the Gryphons came to play all 48 minutes. “They stormed back,” said Coach Anthony DeMatteo, and preventing a total deluge meant Somers needed some heroes.

We don’t Play for the NY Giants so you have no Right to Follow Daniel Jones to his Car
Photo by All-Pro Reels I was spared from watching the Giants yesterday. Well not so much since I got to see both of Daniel Jones' picks on Red Zone. I liked Daniel Jones from the moment he confidently stepped on the field. But whether or not all the excuses are valid, even I have to admit that this year has to be it. His ongoing failure is not why I’m here, though, because the impetus to write took place after the game.

Of course, everything is relative and Adrianna Cooke's go ahead goal with 4:44 remaining proved the point. “After that, everything warmed up,” Righetti assured, and it was off to the final four.

Despite Shortfalls, Mob Land Moves with a nontraditional Twist and Makes a Worthwhile Viewing
We’ve all seen that movie. A crime is proposed, no one will get hurt, and once the cash is effortlessly grabbed, everyone will live happily ever after. Unfortunately, the more crime inclined partner will shoot off his gun and drag down the good, bad guy. A heavy weight always inflicted on us, the forces coalesce, and we have to settle for the justice that must be served. Mob Land with John Travolta serves up the familiar story but puts a compelling twist in the traditional unraveling. Our tragic figure finds out first hand, and despite the redemptive part of the story falling a little short, the Nicholas Maggio film still makes for worthwhile viewing.
