How to Get Rid of Whiteheads and Blackheads Fast
Whiteheads are a similar form of acne as blackheads and the difference is that in whiteheads the skin pore is so microscopic or small that the air cannot oxidize the dead skin cells which form into blackheads and remain under the skin as whiteheads. Acne is a skin condition that affects 85% of teenagers and subsidizes by the time a person grows to the age of 20 years. There are many types of acne which range from zits to cystic acne. Blackheads and whiteheads are the two most common types of acne. Acne occurs when the sebum oil which is produced naturally gets clogged with dead skin cells and do not reach the skin surface. In normal circumstances the oil is excreted onto the skin and through the hair and that is why our faces tend to shine with this thin oil film. It is when the oil production increases and the dead cells do not reach the skin surface and get sloughed off that acne occurs.

Cosmetic Surgery & Me
I know what you're thinking, another story about a girl that enchances her features just to keep up with societies social norms. But for once let's take away all the bad connotations that beauty enhancements have and not jump to conclusions that include "she's just doing this because it's trendy" because i am just as bored of hearing these type of statements than you probably are of hearing about another young girl getting cosmetic surgeries. But tell me this, if "everyone" wasnt enhancing their beauty would the rest of the world still be judgemental to those few that do go through with these procedures? My point is, because cosmetic surgery and enhancements have became a global trend it is now looked down upon as if when you go and get something done you automatically become less of a person in the eyes of other people that perhaps dont understand why you would want it.

keeping it real
This a subject that I have explored slightly with my fiancé and after the reaction try and not visit to often. I prefer her and other ladies I see to be as natural as humanly possible and to look like they do as they fall out of bed. I hate false nails, false eyebrows and anything else you need to glue on or apply with a marker pen. Shaving eyebrows to reapply with a felt tip always confuses me the most.

Skincare Series. Top Story - February 2020.
I’ve seen a meme going around lately that jokes about perfect skin being wasted on children and MAN is that the truth! It seems like every day there is a new skin condition that pops up in attempt to strike down our dreams of clear, youthful skin. I like to consider myself a bit of a human guinea pig, so I’ve tried my fair share of skincare products, treatments, etc. in attempt to get perfect skin as well as go after any issue I’m having on my face at the time. My main concerns are typically breakouts, oiliness and then I’m a huge proponent of anti-aging at any age so being preventative on that front is my jam.

How To Protect Your Skin From the Sun
In the sixties, people started to come to know about the harmful effects of the sunrays and that overexposure to the sun could cause a serious type of skin cancer. This was the time when researchers working for skin care commodity makers started working on the development of two products; one was products that would protect a person from the sun when outdoors which were sunscreens and sunblock and the other were products that would give a tanned look to a person without the person getting sun exposure. Sun tanners have become quite popular today as an alternative to getting a suntan from the convenience of one's home or beautician or a spa without getting the skin damaged by harmful UV rays of the sun.

Schools That Are Obsessed with Hair
What grinds my gears, you ask? There's a lot of things that most people do that annoy me, but I'll be talking about the one thing that I've been curious about for so long: some of these school districts who are so concerned about how students, even people of color, choose to wear their hair. Over the last few years, I've seen and read stories about students being suspended for wearing, dying, and having them in cornrows and braids. People being fired from their jobs or not getting a job because of their hair. As a person of color, I take offense to what these schools are doing to children and lowering their self-esteem. Our hairstyles are part of our self-identities. It's part of who we are. Just like what we like to wear: it's part of our own individual personal style. In July 2019, California became the first state to ban discrimination against black students and employees over their natural hairstyles. I believe that more states will follow suit and adopted in all states. Last month, I ran into an article that not only upset me, but was angered. It took place in my home state and I have a lot to say about it.

Why I will no Longer be Shopping at Sephora
I used to have a problem when it came to shopping on Sephora.ca and buying a lot much makeup. A few years ago, I became obsessed with “beauty gurus” on Youtube and I began buying lots of makeup. At the time, it brought me a lot of joy and I loved playing with eyeshadow palettes and colours. I spent a lot of time and money buying tons of makeup.
