Why I Swear By Trying A Shampoo-less Haircare Routine. Top Story - March 2021. Created with: Hairstory.
Then you have to use a ton of conditioner to make your hair feel soft and smooth again. Detergents found in shampoo are just stripping your oils. We all despise being mid-wash to realize we're out of conditioner, or going to our local drugstore and contemplate the countless shampoo-conditioner combos that are all shouting the same things.

Why I Won't Go Back To Using Drugstore Shampoo After Using This Detergent-Free Hair Product. Top Story - March 2021. Created with: Hairstory.
You know, the kind that you routinely have to coax into submission with the help of a curler or an extra durable hair band. Throughout my life, I’ve had all the haircuts you can think of: a shoulder-length chop with side-swept bangs, a layered chin-length bob and laidback, flowy waves. I’ve tried most products: hair spray, leave-in conditioner, leave-in everything. But really, years of experience have taught me to just stick with what I know best: a choreography of shampoo and conditioner. Rinse and repeat.

Killing the Draconian Pollutants with Olaplex Home Care Redeemer- What’s the Secret?
It’s often said that the exterior expression speaks volumes about the inner harmony of an individual, and hair care cannot be separated from it. In the present times, we women have to deal with the barbarous environmental aura which can be a major turn-off for our natural hair bonds. The continuous decline of the air quality index and depletion of the natural UV filter (the ozone layer) is a serious cause of concern for your hair strands.

Hair Glorious Hair
Will you go bald? That was the first question I got when I told my kids what was going on. Really? They were worried about what I was going to look like. Hair for many people is part of who they are. Part of their heritage and lineage. It provides a bit of their personality. It has been what unities many and divides many. Color and texture of hair has been a tell tale sign for many if you had a trace of African in you. Weather you could pass or not. Golden rays provided a small prospect to escape from Hitler or to be doomed along with many others. Hair gives many the chance to show their proud colors. To sport a punk rock streak or a heavy metal tie. To give a node to your allegiance. What team you route for and where your heart lies. For some of us, hair is the thing we must let go of. It may be age pulling at us hunting and teasing us. Or it may be what the kids asked. Will I still have hair? That is the question that may tug at many like me. A stage 4 Cancer victim.

How I Learnt to Love the Curly Fries on My Head
Let's get right into it, shall we? I am a 22-year-old Indian woman who has put her hair through heaven and hell. You see, in my country, we follow some basic haircare routines, regardless of what hair type we have. Straight, curly, short, long, it doesn't matter. If you're a brown woman, I am 90 percent sure your grandma used to oil your hair regularly and comb it every day.

Females love having good hair days when their hairs are perfectly wavy and styling them is much easier. Have you ever noticed that when you go to a beach, you start loving your hair because they get those perfect waves? The question is that what makes your hair get that perfect look while you are at the beach? The answer lies in the Epsom salt that is the primary ingredient for incredibly wavy hair.

Finding the Right Brush
There are all types of people in the world, which means there are all kinds of hair in the world. With that in mind, finding a hairbrush to suit certain hair, is almost as big of a challenge as finding the right shampoo and conditioner to use. Like the world is made up of many different hairs, of all different cultures, there are many kinds of brushes in the world. The most commonly used brushes in the world are the paddle brush, the vented brush, and of course the ceramic round brush. Not to mention the Aero pick, most commonly used with Afros-type hair.

STRANDS OF SUNSHINE
Swiveled salon chairs decked with anxious clients on a Saturday. Some with flights to catch, appointments to take, delayed meetings, or simply no where to be at all. All of this I seen as I traversed down the hall to a corner salon in which my mother stood intensely twirling tendrils into perfect coiffures. It’s always made me sad when some people reflected on the hair care industry with dismissive hurt, when I’ve watched it bring joyous tears to so many women’s lives. Our hair (or lack thereof) is a way we connect with things up above. It’s a plethora of antennas that receive and send signals amongst the chaotic human race. It is tasked with conveying our personality, and internal sentiments without even motioning our lips.
