Testing Your Hair's Porosity Level & The Best Styling Method For Your Hair Porosity Type
As you grow and mature you learn to listen to your body's needs. The same with any living thing. If the peace lily in your living room is drooping then your plant is telling you that it needs water. Welcome to your natural hair care journey where the same rules apply. As your natural hair grows you will learn to listen to what it needs on a daily/weekly and monthly basis. One of the ways that you can determine what your hair is craving at the moment is a regular at-home porosity test. Don’t worry! All you need is a glass of warm water and a strand of clean hair.

The Side Hustle
2020 was the year we all wanted to leave behind never to see the light of any realm ever again. It was a nightmare out of the best-selling suspense writers’ imaginations. We learned about how one virus could change the lives of millions drastically from home to work life. Everywhere you turned, people’s work was the greatest impact.

Things to note about Porosity Tests
Knowing your hair porosity is one of the most important factors when it comes to buying products that will work. Especially when you’re starting the Curly Girl Method. When most people start their curly journey, they frantically try to determine what curly type they have. In a recent post, I spoke about why your curl type doesn’t matter. Hair Porosity does! Think of your hair porosity the same way you would think of skin type: oily, combination, normal and dry. You don’t shop for skincare products based on skin colour or face shape, you shop according to your skin type. The same principle applies when it comes to shopping for your hair care. Shop according to your porosity. There are three types: low, medium (aka healthy) and high porosity.

What Over A Year Of Not Going To The Hairdressers Has Taught me
Before lockdown, I had the same hairstyle for several years: a simple bob with a side fringe. I remember the initial reason as to why I wanted it kept short in the first place. When I was much younger, my mum would brush my hair so long that it went down to my waist. It was a pretty style for sure, but one night, in particular, some nasty tangles prompted me to ask to get my hair cut much shorter. I did get it cut, and I really liked it, so whenever I went to the hairdressers in the future, I always got it cut to my chin.

How to Build a Curly Girl Hair Routine
How to Build a Curly Girl Hair Routine Step 1. Final Wash | Clarify If you’re just starting the curly girl method, you need to do a final wash to get rid of the silicones out of your hair, and any product build up. For this, you’ll need a shampoo that does contain sulfates, but doesn’t contain silicones. My favourite is the Bumble & Bumble Sunday Shampoo.

What is the Curly Girl Method?
What is the Curly Girl Method? In May 2017, I started following the Curly Girl Method. And yes, it really is life changing! I’m a member of quite a few curly girl groups on Facebook and one question I see pop up daily, and one we all started with is, “What is the Curly Girl Method?” This post covers the basics. Most of all it’s a journey and a lifestyle rather than a quick fix. “Quick” isn’t a word in the curly girl dictionary.

Best Biotin Hair Vitamin Gummies
Some of the claims include that taking biotin can increase hair growth, lead to thicker hair or healthier hair, or strengthen nails. But conclusive scientific evidence to that effect is lacking. Biotin supplements, including gummies, are highly touted as a way to improve the health of your hair, skin, and fingernails.

Skyrocket The Worth Of Your Sprays By Offering Customized Packaging to Them
Women have always been concerned about their appearance, and for maintaining it, they take help from different cosmetic items. Priorly they were mainly focused on their face and dressing but now the focus has been shifted to hair too. That's the reason we see different hair care products in the market like oils, serums, gels, and sprays. But, among all of these, hair sprays have a different fan base referring to the fact they are a quick solution for hair setting. No matter what hairstyle you carry you can make it set for hours and hours long by just throwing a little of the hairspray. Considering this, many cosmetic brands have started producing hairsprays, and the competition is getting tougher each day. However, using festive hair spray boxes for your hair spray bottles you can turn the direction of the air in the market.
