The Hidden Power of Influence
A few months ago, I attended an event that made me rethink something I had always taken for granted. It was held near 10 Downing Street, the famous address associated with the British Prime Minister. The gathering was described as an “influencer event,” which immediately made me curious.

Rewriting the Story: The Quiet Struggle to Rebuild a Public Image
One thing I’ve always found fascinating is how people attempt to rebuild their reputations after difficult public moments. In ordinary life, changing direction after a setback can be challenging enough. But when your life unfolds under the constant attention of global media, that process becomes even more complicated.

Word of the Day:顕著
I never thought I would do this but, I ended up buying a bunch of ramen to last me this month. I went a little fancier because I decided to get like the protein cups, which has 16g of protein and less sodium, but I figured that could at least last me to the end of the month, and by then I'll get paid again and can use cash to buy some food until the next installment of food stamps.

Sometimes my brain keeps thinking about the same thing again and again, like “What if I’m wrong?” or “What if there was a better answer?” Even when the teacher already moved on to the next question, I’m still thinking about the previous one. That’s just how I am.

The Night the Magic of Theatre Almost Disappeared
There is something magical about live theatre that is difficult to describe unless you have experienced it yourself. I remember the first time I sat in a theatre just before a performance began. The lights dimmed slightly, the audience settled into their seats, and from the orchestra pit came the sound of musicians quietly tuning their instruments.
