Life Changing, One Push at a Time
It's 5 am, do you know where your children are? Well, I know where I am. It's 5 am, I'm freshly showered, and ready to get this kid OUT OF ME! At this point in my pregnancy, it pretty much hurt to be alive. For the past 3 weeks, I would have to wake up in the middle of the night just to turn over on my other side. I felt like I was giving birth to heavy weights that were just weighing down my bladder, and my legs. I was ready.... nay... I was DESPERATE to finally get this wonderful bundle of joy the hell out of me.

Scars of Paradise
Having my first child at twenty-seven was a flash in the moment experience. I went the longest distance I could without anything to ease the pain. Whewww, never again. But then again, I never know. It was the best experience of my life because for so long I thought I couldn’t have kids. I always thought it was something wrong with me for years but then boom. My first child and a beautiful scar to show for it. The best gift I could have asked for was to be a mother.

Talk To Me Momma - Building The Bond With Your Unborn Child
For the unborn child, the womb is a sensory playground. Pregnant ten weeks, a mother feels the first stirring of life in her belly as the baby begins to wiggle and stretch his limbs. Medical experts tell us that the fetus's hearing is well developed by the end of the second trimester. At 23 weeks, the baby begins to hear his mother's voice as well as other external sounds and respond to them. At this point in the pregnancy, he will start to taste the foods you eat and may even develop a particular favorite.

Birth Perfect
Now Deep in the familiar caress of sleep, a thought nudges into my dreams, now; it's going to start now. As I rush peacefully towards wakefulness, I hear the muted "POP," as I feel the warm gush of water spread down my legs. It’s a feeling of pressure released; a burden eased.
