The Era
The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. He stepped in front of her to calmly close the door to the room past his desk in the office. But she’d already seen a glimpse of the beyond. Dhristi did not understand what she had just observed, except that viewing it was forbidden. The tendrils of electricity flashed and she heard banging in the distance and the door shut with a click. She didn’t know why The Protectors forbid her and her family from going beyond the compound. The Savior
The end of her story began in the god-forsaken village of Sunfall. The isolated land was centered with a cobblestone road and lined with small, run-down houses. Each one was characterized by missing roof shingles; tattered curtains; cracked porch steps; broken fence posts; and garbage lining the outside of the fences. Behind the houses was a dense wood littered with dark, tall, menacing trees. That night, though, the village was especially dark. The full clouds that encompassed the sky would soon give way to rain. Wind swept hastily in between rugged fence posts, howling as it threw garbage onto the road.

5 Guidelines for fiction writers
WHAT IS FICTION WRITTING? is the creation of fiction-based written compositions. Fictional writing frequently takes the form of a story intended to entertain readers or express the author's point of view. This could lead to the creation of a short story, novel, novella, screenplay, or drama, albeit these aren't the only forms of fictional writing. Novelists, playwrights, short story writers, radio playwrights, screenwriters, and other genre-specific authors all write fiction.
