Pariah - Part 1
Prologue The boy walked quickly through the deserted streets on the outskirts of Reykjavik. Wispy snowflakes danced in front of his face and stung his eyes as his breath clouded his vision. It was cold, far colder than South America had been, but he didn’t mind; he was used to this cold. This was home.

Hellbound Saga Book 1: Albador
Chapter 3 The forest flew past as Kyra and I ran as fast as we could back to the farm, as we got closer I began to smell the smoke and could hear the panicked screams of the horses, but I had yet to hear my mother scream again. Panicked as I was, every numerous possibility of what could of happened crossed my mind but not a single one seemed possible. It didn't take very long before we were close enough to see signs of the fire through the trees and the smoke started to surround us, then I could hear my mother pleading with somebody.

12 Blackened Petals Chapter 5
Chapter 5: Shock of it All Sam’s mind slipped into a flashback from twenty-four hours earlier. He stood on the roof of a building he had been looking at for weeks. He was studying it with special attention to the proximity of its neighbor. He was trying to size up the distance from one rooftop to the other. From the ground, it looked like ten feet. Also, it appeared that this building was about a five or six-foot height difference. Sam kept telling himself that this would be a piece of cake. He could totally make the distance. All he would need is about a twenty foot run up, and he could easily make the jump to the next building. At least, that is what he had been telling himself for weeks.

Map's Edge: Aletrias
On a morning fair, in a city old, there stood a mighty Oak. Many mornings stood this towering tree in the center of the square. A great many of those mornings led to days of joy and plenty. Some led to pain and sorrow, but through it all, under flame and frost, Aletrias endured. The rising sun revealed this day that it did not stand alone. Here, Cassandra entered, motionless beneath the oaken branches. Entranced by their sway, she noticed not the sea’s chill rolling over the city, nor did she notice the light growing about the ever busying square. The crack of a cart against stone broke the moment’s enchantment and her senses returned. An instant of pause passed, then she set off with all haste. Cassandra was late.

12 Blackened Petals Chapter 4
Chapter 4: 24 Hours Later This again. He thought he would never wind up here after the last time. In fact, it had been almost five years since he was here. He hated this place. Everything about it was uncomfortable and painful. Especially when he first got here. It was as if he went through the same bullshit every time.

The third floor, right at the end of the hall and 4th door on the left. He could find his way to it blindfolded. The first time he came here, he made sure to memorize exactly where this was. Julia’s apartment has always been in the same place, at least for the five years that he had known her.

12 Blackened Petals Chapter 2
Chapter 2: A Dark Side Sam loved walking through the city. It was a unique place that was always busy and full of such diversity. You could be as loud as you wanted and no one would care. He could be invisible. These walks always gave him time to think. Time to reflect on the goals and matters at hand and time to reflect on how to repair the cracks in his inner walls before anything else seeped through.

12 Blackened Petals Chapter 1
In our ignorance, we thought our only option was to fight. We thought that if we killed him, we would protect ourselves, our way of life. However, it was through this violence that we brought great misery upon ourselves. No one knew that self-preservation would bring such horror to us. Millions died. Millions more were never found.

Old Woman in the Woods
I saw the woman's cat before I saw her, so I knew I’d found the right place. A small, greyish thing that animal was, with glass-green eyes, matted fur and half its right ear missing. Whenever Mother or any of the other women spotted it hanging around the village, they would whistle a few stones past its ears to send it running. Some of the older boys once tried to catch it and put it in the well, but without success, only bitten hands and clawed faces.

Hellbound Saga: Book One, Albador
Prologue My name is Casius Zellion, and this is my journal. After my "adventure" began, as Kyra likes to call it, someone told me that I should keep a journal to chronologically lay out the events of my age so that future generations may know the truth of what transpired. Keep in mind that my journey is a long and difficult one, so this is the first of quite a few journals. While my journals are primarily my own work there are excerpts from others who have different stories to tell of our age that I didn't witness at the time.

Where Is Your God?
“Oh god, how I miss this”. The devil in his human form looks up at earth’s sky with sinister glee. “To embody a man truly deserving my power and ambition is rare. However, I digress, I’m here with your lamb. The one you’ve chosen to let rule in your stead. I wonder, what makes her so special”? The devil stands in the middle of a green pasture full of life and God's creatures. The light is fading and a burning red glow emits from the horizon. Lucifer looks over to the dimming light and hellish glow.
