The 1950s had some great talent that is respected and honored to this day. With such talent, one might wonder how these actors could have fared in modern-day roles and movies. Here is a list of some 1950s actors and the Justice League roles they were made to play.

King of the Green: 10 Actors Who Could Star in 'Swamp Thing'
DC Comics is launching an online streaming service in order to air their own exclusive content, and they have recently announced that a live-action Swamp Thing show will be a part of the line-up. Swamp Thing is one of the most popular characters in DC Comics lore, yet the role hasn't been executed correctly. I feel that I know a few actors who could not only be a good Swamp Thing, but a good Alec Holland as well, and I hope you agree with my list.

Some will never agree with the way they are portrayed in a film and will go to any extent to prove their anger. In some cases, it's difficult for the actor to conform to their character's morality and behavior. More often than not, the telling of a life story on film only spawns more stories.

News has broke that the fan favorite intergalactic mercenary Lobo is set to have his own solo movie directed by Michael Bay, and loyal followers of the DC Universe couldn't be more ecstatic. Lobo isn't just one of the most powerful characters in DC Comics lore, he's one of the funniest and most insane, and that could make for a movie that rivals the likes of Deadpool. No matter how good or bad the movie will be, the fact remains that you need the right person to bring Lobo to life, and I think I have a few choices that might fit the bill.

How NOT to Stalk Your Favorite Actors
According to Kant’s “categorical imperative,” when making a decision, consequences are the most important part of making a decision. So, if someone wants to break the law, it’s okay as long as no one is hurt (For example, if someone wants to steal a small loaf of bread from the store). As a rebellious college student, I can completely relate to Kant’s theory.

My Idols Through a Lens
The first celebrity I ever saw in person, with my own two eyes, was Kate Winslet. I stood on a grassy hill, outside the Ryerson Theatre in Toronto, craning my neck to see her get out of the limousine. I had been obsessed with Titanic from the time I was 14 years old. Since then Kate Winslet has always been my favourite actress. I had watched her films countless times and I remember this shock wave that went through me when I first saw her and had that moment of recognition. That moment where you realize you're actually in front of a person who, previously, you had only been able to see through a television screen.

10 Movie Stars Who Started in Television
1. Robin Williams—'Mork and Mindy' Robin Williams's breakout roll was on the ABC show, Mork and Mindy. The show was a spin off from the show Happy Days where the character of Mork made his first public appearance. The writers created Mork to be a new adversary to Fonzie and was so popular that they decided to create a sitcom around Mork the alien, his experiences on earth, and what he learned about humans. After having his genius on television every week, it is no surprise that Williams quickly made the transition to the big screen. His first movie was in 1980 when he starred in a live action film about the cartoon character, Popeye. Though the movie was not a financial success, this role lead to future opportunities, many of which lead Robin to win countless awards.

Why I'm Glad I Never Made It to Hollywood
When I was a little girl, I always wanted to be famous. Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe were my heroes. I loved the glitz and the glamor of it all. When I would sit down to watch the Academy Awards every year, I would always think about how wonderful and worry-free my life would be. I would make more money than most make in a single lifetime, which would mean that I would have a great house and I could take care of my family. I would get dressed up in beautiful clothes and wear the best make up money could buy. EVERYONE would love me. Life couldn't get any better than this? Right?.... Now that I am older and a lot less naïve, I have come to realize that this lifestyle has its perks, no question about that; but as soon as I started to discover the dark side of Hollywood, this is why I pray that I will never make it to Tinsel town.
