Obsessed
You know those urban legend stories our parents told us all the time as kids? They would always tell us that they were real, but we never really believed them because of how silly it sounded. Like of that little boy killing his older sister, maybe a boy stalking a camp or even a man who haunts you in your dreams. All of those stories sound real, don't they? Well they're not, but mine is. One that is so bone chilling that you'll wish I never told you, and nor do I. I wish that what I'm about to tell is all just a dream. A figment of my imagination. Fake. But it wasn't.

Liars Into Lessons Part 2
I carefully set the glass down on the welcome mat and roll my eyes at how cheery it is. Welcome to our home! It never fails to surprise me just how brainless people can be. Reaching into my pocket I pull out my tools and get to work on the simple deadbolt. I lean heavily against the doorjam while I work, swaying on my feet every so often like I'm drunk and struggling to get my keys to cooperate. It's dark on the "porch" that runs the length of the building, my liars having turned off the light once everyone arrived home and went to bed for the night. So stupid, leaving themselves open like this with a welcome mat that invites anything in, let alone a humanoid monster.

Liars Into Lessons
It begins with an itch under my skin; an insistent need to destroy something, to rip into someone and hear them scream. And it always starts when someone lies to me. When that lie turns into something bigger and I end up being used, end up being made out to be a monster? That itch becomes a rash that spreads and spreads until I can no longer tell if I ever had clear skin.

'Tales From the Crypt' Review
Hello again, Boils and Ghouls. As of writing this review, it is in the month of May and of course, Christmas is still a long time away. Although with this fiendishly festive episode, you don't have to wait for Jack Frost to nip at your nose, or Jolly Ol' Saint Nick to come to town, but in this case, this Saint Nick is anything but Jolly.

Can We Have a 'What We Do in the Shadows' but With Every Mythological Creature?
As of recently, FX confirmed a 10-episode TV series adaptation about the acclaimed Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement's What We Do in the Shadows (2014), and both of them are working on a spin-off of the movie called We're Wolves. The horror comedy focused on the lives of a group of vampires that live in Wellington, New Zealand, recorded as a mockumentary. So, think of The Office but with vampires, which is the best concept possible. If they approached vampires, and now wolves, it raises the question: why not every single creature possible? To take a myth or creature, add comedy and an unusual setting for them, and somehow make it work. As a contribution, here are some of the endless possibilities I've thought about.

10 Best Ghost Story Books
Nothing quite says spooky and timeless like a good ghost story. During the old days, people would gather around campfires and talk about the spooks and goblins that lurk on castle grounds. By the 1950s, tales of ghosts transformed into urban legends that made kids dare one another to stay a night in that one haunted house in the neighborhood.
