Best 80s Horror Movies of All Time
Some of the most infamous horror movies of all time came out of the 1980s. As movie producers in the 2010s run out of ideas for scary movies, they frequently default to creating remakes of huge 80s franchises (like the ones we're about to tell you about). You might not have realized it before now, but today's pop culture (shoutout to Fabolous and Jadakiss's new single) is largely influenced by the best 80s horror movies.

Don't Go in There
6:45 AM My alarm clock jolted on. I groaned and buried my head under my pillow trying to ignore it. Why on earth would I set my alarm this early on a Saturday? The upbeat song that was playing ended and the local morning show hosts began cracking jokes about a marathon that is taking place today. Now I remember. I smile as I pulled my head out from under the pillow. I had entered in today's marathon. I had started running as a way to cope with a bad break up. Exercise had become an outlet to relieve my stress and depression.

Last Breath
A boat sailed steadily along into the open waters of an unforgiving sea. Waves pulled the boat onward, water spilling over the sides. It was a mid-sized fishing boat, meant to carry just a few people and a lot of equipment. The engine sputtered to a stop, conserving gasoline for the long trip ahead. It was an older vessel that groaned in protest of the heavy load it carried; almost double that of its suggested occupancy. It was just after sunset.

Best Horror Comedy Movies of All Time
Horror is one of the most serious genres there is, but horror comedy movies are hellbent on turning the genre inside out. Writers, directors, producers, and actors pay homage to the horror films that came before them by flipping the script, and the results are fun, thrilling flicks that satisfy both our curiosity, and our need for laughs. And don't assume all of them are stupid, either; actually, many of these movies are rather clever.

"Is it ready, Dr.Nelson?" Nurse Joy Reeds said cautiously. A devoted employee and dearest friend. I'm surprised she stuck out with me this long and another Doctor with this experiment, most of the staff left during the project, who needs them anyway? People don't see the vision when it's in front of them I guess.

Until Dawn (2)
Chapter 1: Symptoms 15 Years Later I sat there on the hard wooden chair with my head between my legs. I felt my stomach cramp up. I thought I was going to die, the pain was so intense in my stomach. Taking a deep breath, I waited for the pain to pass. It seemed to take forever for the pain to pass as I shut my eyes.

Pigeons
“Come on guys, hurry!” If I had a dollar for every time Henry woke us up at 7 AM, I would probably be a millionaire by now. Last week, he made us get up at six in the morning just to show us two cats fighting over a dead mouse in his backyard. We told him if he ever sees anything interesting, then just take a video, but he always replies with “No, everything is better in person.”

Answers From the Past
“As we have discussed our ancestors and how their choices affect us in the present, I would like all of you to think of one person who is deceased that had an impact on your life. How did their choices affect who you are and where you are today? I want you to do some serious research on this and interview family members. Quote some things they say in your paper. This is due next Wednesday. That gives you a week for interviews. You all are dismissed.”
