They did find Garcia’s son, who was severely ill and was taken to the hospital. The cops had no idea that the house was filled with corpses until the boy died.

# Story: 1 I was on my gap year, travelling around Europe with my best friend. We had just arrived in Prague and were looking for a place to stay. We found a hostel that looked perfect for us. It was our first night there and we were sharing a room with two other girls. We were all getting ready for bed and chatting. The girls told us that the hostel was supposedly haunted. They said that there had been reports of strange noises and sightings of ghosts. We all laughed and said that we didn't believe in ghosts. We said that we would be fine and went to bed. In the middle of the night, I was awoken by a noise. I sat up in bed and looked around the room. I couldn't see anything, but I could feel something watching me. I tried to go back to sleep, but the feeling was so strong that I couldn't. I got out of bed and turned on the light. I looked around the room, but there was nothing there. I woke up my friend and told her what was happening. She said that she had been having the same feeling. We decided to leave the room and go to reception. We didn't see anything on the way, but we could feel someone following us. We got to reception and told the night manager what was happening. He said that he would come and check our room. He came with us and went into the room. We all stood there in the doorway, but there was nothing there. The manager said that he didn't see anything and that we were probably just imagining things. We went back to our room and tried to sleep, but we couldn't. We could still feel someone watching us. Every time we closed our eyes, we saw a figure in the darkness. We were too scared to sleep, so we just sat there awake all night. In the morning, we packed our bags and left the hostel. We didn't say anything to the staff, we just wanted to get out of there. We never spoke about that night again, but we both know that we will never forget it.

Peeking out, we saw a figure in a white dress, covered in blood, floating towards our house. We both froze in fear as we watched the ghostly figure come closer and closer. Suddenly, it was right outside our window, staring in at us with its cold, dead eyes. My brother let out a whimper, and I put my hand over his mouth to keep him quiet. The ghostly figure just floated there, staring at us. Then, it slowly raised its hand and beckoned us to come closer. paralyzed with fear, we couldn't move. We just stood there, staring at the ghost. Finally, mustering up all my courage, I took a step towards the window. The ghostly figure floated back a few feet, still beckoning us to come closer. My brother grabbed my hand and tried to pull me back, but I shook him off. I was determined to find out what this ghost wanted. I inched closer and closer to the window, until I was right up against it. The ghostly figure was now just inches away from me, and I could see the bloodstained dress it was wearing. Suddenly, it reached out and grabbed my arm, and I let out a scream. My brother grabbed me and pulled me away from the window. We both ran into our closet and huddled together in the darkness, trembling with fear. We could hear the ghostly figure banging on the window, trying to get in. It scraped its nails down the glass, making a horrifying sound. We sat there in the closet, too terrified to move, until morning came. When we finally emerged from the closet, the ghost was gone. But we could still see the bloody handprints it had left on the window. We never found out what the ghost wanted, but that was the most horrific night of my life

# Story: 1 The night was dark and stormy. The wind was howling and the rain was pouring. The trees were swaying and the branches were creaking. It was the perfect night for a ghost story. I was sitting by the fire with my two friends, Emma and Sarah. We were sharing scary stories and trying to scare each other. Emma told the story of the haunted house. She said that the house was built on an ancient burial ground and that the ghosts of the dead people haunted it. The pool in the house was also haunted by the spirits of drowned people. And the witches who lived in the house were the most evil and powerful creatures in the world. Sarah told the story of the human haunting witches. She said that these witches were the spirits of women who had been wronged in life. They haunt the living, seeking revenge. They are especially drawn to men who have done them wrong. I was about to tell my story when we heard a noise outside. It sounded like someone was walking around the house. We all got scared and ran upstairs to my room. We hid under the covers and tried to make ourselves as small as possible. The noise got louder and louder until it sounded like someone was right outside the door. We all held our breath, waiting for the door to burst open. But it didn't. After a few minutes, the noise stopped and we all breathed a sigh of relief. We decided to go downstairs and see what had made the noise. We carefully crept down the stairs, ready to run back upstairs at the first sign of danger. When we got to the bottom of the stairs, we saw the front door was open. We all froze in fear. Then, we heard footsteps coming towards the door.Someone was coming into the house! We didn't know what to do. We were about to run back upstairs when we heard a voice. It was a woman's voice, and she was singing. We all relaxed a little and decided to find out who the woman was. We followed the voice until we came to the living room. There, we saw a woman sitting in a chair by the fire. She was holding a book in her hands and singing softly to herself. We all stood in the doorway and stared at the woman. She looked up at us and smiled. Then she asked if we wanted to hear a story. We all nodded eagerly. The woman began to tell us a story about a group of witches who lived in a haunted house. These witches were the spirits of women who had been wronged in life. They haunt the living, seeking revenge. They are especially drawn to men who have done them wrong. As the woman told her story, we all felt ourselves getting more and more scared. But we couldn't look away. We were transfixed by her words. When she was finished, we all thanked her for the story. Then we ran upstairs and into my room. We all climbed into bed and tried to sleep. But we all had nightmares that night. The next morning, we woke up and realized it had all been a dream. But we all knew that the story was real. And we knew that we would never forget the woman who told it to us.

Running For Dawn (Chapter Two)
Chapter 2: Things That Bite I made my way nonchalantly over the rooftops and buildings above the Gnawers in the streets, quietly imagining in my head the kinds of music I used to listen to before the outbreak since carrying a radio was a death wish, especially at night. As I was doing so, I observed the things in the streets below. Kinds of zombies I hadn’t had the chance to see before, some with massive spikes hanging from their back like a spider's legs, some glowed blue, some had a mix and multitude of features. One I saw sent shivers down my spine and actually stopped me in my tracks for a moment. It was significantly larger than your average Gnawer, much more mutant-like and built-looking. It had several extra digits, split feet with claws, rows of fangs that covered its face when its mouth was shut, and its ribcage seemed like a second mouth. The ribs moved back and forth from its chest like mandibles. In my trance of this awestruck feeling, it looked at me with a vileness in its piercing blue eyes. Once I had noticed I was doing nothing but standing there, I quickly ducked behind the AC attached to the roof of the building I stood on. I hyperventilated for a few seconds before barely regaining myself. Then, just as I had thought it would have moved on, I heard the vicious and quick clanging of metal coming from over the edge, I got up and sprinted. The first thing that came to mind was the worst, which was good because it was right: That thing with its rib mandibles had climbed up the side of the building and began running at me on all fours. I thought to myself this is only my first night out, I have no clue how to parkour like a Stalker would! My only option of escape was to outrun the soon-to-ensue horde that would be on me in seconds and as I ran from each rooftop, I could hear blood curdling inhuman howls in the distance and before I knew it- I was in the middle of a fabled chase Daniel always talked about.
