Watch the Clock
The sun was covered by thick gray clouds and there was a breeze that tempted my skirt to fly up. I walked down the sidewalk slowly, taking in the fall air. The trees were bright with warmth. The yellows, reds, and oranges danced in the wind as they fell from the branches. Fall has always been my favorite season because the colors fill in my heart and wake up my mind.

Crazy Becomes Crazier
Ever since the third grade, I always imagined myself living in a big house with a room filled with books. All of the books would be hardcovers and will be set in alphabetical order and will be perfectly set on each shelf, but the best part was, each book would be written by me. Now that I think about it, it's more of a crazy dream of mine. My dreams have never been simple and I'm pretty sure half of them are impossible; yet that will not stop me from completing them one way or another. With all these crazy dreams of mine, there are two things that I never dreamt about: being a wife or a mother.

You Are My Favorite 'What If'
Today is my birthday… I have been breathing air for 24 years. Crazy to believe I’ve actually made it this far. I’ve experienced 24 years of utter happiness, tears, regret, and confusion. Not many people can say they have experienced the things I have, but I never would have experienced anything if I didn’t do the things I did. I would still be sitting quietly in the background, letting life pass me by.

Perfect Gifts for the Single Girl in Your Life
Single girls need more love, and not because they’re single, but because they’re confident individuals who can care for themselves — being single is the best! Not every girl is desperate out there and if you know a single girl who couldn’t give a damn about being in a relationship, and her birthday is coming up, you better gift her something amazing that she’ll always use. She deserves something great to remind her that she's an awesome human being and she should continue what she's doing in her single life.

Dating Cleanse
One of my biggest wake ups I had recently is that I noticed dating is no longer exciting to me. It’s become extremely difficult to develop feelings for anyone! I would go on a date, have some good laughs and drinks, say goodbye… or hookup… and then I would lose interest by the next morning. At first, I thought “maybe I just need to stick it out longer, and then my feelings will grow for them,” (like I did with my first long term relationship) but that didn’t work… Instead I grew more annoyed with each guy and didn’t care for them at all.

The Urban Sleeplessness
The city, Toronto, never sleeps. In the darkest hours of the night it breathes and lives like an animal. But at night life takes on a new image, shadowed and mysterious. The darkness fills in the city, like a plague, giving it an entirely new sense of existence. It is as if stepping into a parallel universe.

A Definitive Ranking of All of My Tinder Encounters from Best to Worst
This is going to be so long, and I'm not even sorry. I'm not going to lie to you. When I end a rocky relationship (like I did exactly 2 months ago,) I go off the rails. I go to bars, I mess around, and I'm a firm believer in a swift rebound... or maybe several swift rebounds. (Sorry, Mom. I know you're reading this, but maybe you should click out because this one is going to be ethically messy.) I'm going to guess that I've met up with Tinder boys way more often than the average person, but I mean... That's life, y'know? My number one "love language" is words of affirmation, and let me tell you, there is no better place than Tinder to find just that. Sure, the guys are full of shit, and sure, they don't actually ever mean a damn word they say, (If I heard one more, "lol yeah it's 8 inches," I was going to lose my fucking mind.) But if I ever get tired of being called cute and beautiful and pretty and hot and gorgeous, perform an exorcism on me because I am possessed.
