humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Zabar's Zoo
Saturday, time was all mine. I loved getting a cup of coffee and sitting on a stool that looked out on the sidewalk traffic in a little "not too popular" coffee shop. Instead, there in front of my favorite coffee shop was the dreadful sign. "Closed Due to Construction."

All Men To Back?
I am sitting here trying to think 🤔 of a way I a thirty five year old black man could have a conversation about women. I thought what if I write this like a true journalist would? What If I removed myself from the conversation; making it all about facts. That should do it, stick to the facts, which someone can argue, accompanied by individuals some would hate. Then I thought, What If I just wrote a drawn out historical dissertation? Nah, THAT WOULD NOT WORK.. Most of, or dare I say all the my information is coming from sources I cannot prove, therefore breeding arguments, I do not wish to have. So I found myself half way thru, pausing and hitting the delete button without release. I was bored writing it, I knew you guys would get bored reading it, so why have us all bored? I know it is a crazy question no one can answer, which is why that blog is now 💩💩💩 IN MY TRASH!! But I still wanna have the conversation, So I guess I will just go from the gut.

Losing yourself
Why is it that women change so much when we get married? Why do we get so complacent that we stop caring about our appearance and our manners? Why do we eat too much pizza? Walk around in our worse pyjamas, let the roots of our coloured hair grow too much. Why is it that we stop buying sexy underwear, why do we always feel too tired to make love to our man? why do we turn into complaining, controlling freaks...

No, you wouldn't.
I will never understand on-again-off-again relationships. I would never do that. No, you wouldn't. Not until the happy year you spent falling in love turned into cloud-chasing highs and ocean-drowning lows. Not until his deceptive, sickeningly sweet voice coaxed you back into false safety when you've begun to walk away.

People Are Wonderful
The Devastation March is the beginning of Autumn in Australia. However, judging by our temperatures, it would be fair to think that we were still in the summer season. Today is the third of March and the temperature currently in Brisbane is thirty-three degrees Celsius. For those using the Fahrenheit scale, that is over ninety-one degrees. Our 2019/20 Summer has been the second hottest on record, and a season during which we have experienced our worst wild fires ever.

Solitude
Solitude is a word that is rich in meaning, is empathetic and rolls off the tongue, almost melodious and mellifluous in sound bytes. However for a such beautiful sounding word the meaning can be quite harsh. Solitude bears the scars of the hermit, the anti-social, the remote individual residing amidst a busy group of people.
