A Little Failure From the August Nights
I stop to look up. Milky Way crosses over the whole night sky, stars are light as lanterns, and the air is refreshingly cold. I rush back to the house when I see a huge falling star flying across the sky. "What could I possibly wish for? I think to myself .I have everything I could dream of." I eventually wished strength for Mother Nature to survive humans, and run back to the house.

Introducing Myself
I am Katarina Tolkmit, and I used to work as a fashion designer for a brand in Upper Austria over the last 14 Years. That was a very long time; it was like quitting a long lasting relationship, but at the end I am very happy that it is over now. So many great new things are happening to me, and I can live out more and more all my other potentials. The last two and a half years in this company were a really up and down rollercoaster ride with lots of emotional up and downs.

College is not for everyone. A lot of people learn that early. Those that learn it early enough will go on and start looking for jobs outside of the scope of college degree requirements. They just have to give some practical thought to what they want to do in order to find a good match for their skills.

Why I Decided to Change Careers
If you asked me a year ago if I still enjoyed my current job, I would have told you "NO." For the past eight years (since April 2011), I have been an Early Childhood Educator. Since starting my career as an ECE, I have worked in three different centres. The first one was in a big centre inside of a school, the second one started out in basement suites and eventually moved into a residential commercial space. My last daycare was in a house where I worked mostly by myself.

My First Month in a Law Firm
To be honest, law can be intimidating to the core. After two years of studying, finally, I am about to get to have a taste of what it is like to work in the legal field. I will be able to see the good, the bad, and the ugly life of a legal professional. I may have a little bit of qualms whether or not I will enjoy the job, but the fact that I get to advance my career is worth every effort I gave into this venture.

Excuse Me, I'm Interested in Selling Out
Selling out, man. It's like, the worst, you know? Right now, it's not a problem for me. Somebody whose total sales in his career probably amount to a few hundred units is more concerned with selling than selling out. But the thought arises when I daydream about success: What if I was suddenly in a position to sell out? What if people would write me cheques just to put my name on something? Would I do it?
