War has been declared against my dyer!
I have terrible luck with washing machines and dryers. Choosing between the $250.00 tried-and-true and basic model or the $1,300.00 model that does all the folding, putting away, and washing for you is up to you. No matter what- they'll only last about a year in my house. The most recent victims have been around for about a year. I realized four months ago that I had to run my loads through the dry cycle three times before they were dry. The lavender and vanilla in the dryer sheets could not conceal the musty smell by then.

Introduction I originally thought this was actually poetry but it is so funny. It is from something I found in 2008 and have fluffed and tidied up to make it readable correcting spelling mistakes and then pairing it with the Dubliners "Paddy on The Bricks/The Sick Note" in Lego.

I was too early to check in at the Travelodge this morning but that didn't stop me from trying. Even after exercising my undying boyish charm and modesty at the reception desk I still could not get a room until mid-day. So, nothing else to do apart from heading to Bardo's Lounge on The Colonnade for breakfast.
