Nallur Kovil in Sri Lanka
The biggest Hindu temple in Sri Lanka's Northern Province is called Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil. Lord Murugan, who is represented by the holy "Vel" in the Sanctum, the main shrine, and by Shanmugar, Muthukumaraswami, Valli Kaanthar with consorts Valli and Deivayanai, and Thandayuthapani, without consorts, in minor shrines, is the presiding deity in the temple. It is appropriate to refer to it as the Hindu spiritual hub of Jaffna. 2.5 kilometers (km) northeast of Jaffna's city center is Nallur. The 'Jaffna Kingdom,' a late medieval and early modern Tamil principality, had its capital at what is now Nallur.

Pimburaththewa Lake, also known as Pimburattewa Tank, is one of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist spots. Polonnaruwa District's Aralaganwila has Pimburaththewa Lake. It is well-liked by the locals as a swimming location. Beautiful vistas of the Polonnaruwa district's lush green trees surround the lovely lake. Pimburaththewa Lake is the perfect location to take a bath if you're visiting Polonnaruwa. The Pimburaththewa Tank is primarily recognized by its lake's water spill design. The water spill is made up of a lot of triangles. There are more than five water spills with triangle designs. It is a must-see location when in Polonnaruwa. Although it is not a waterfall like the one in Polonnaruwa, it appears to be a collection of waterfalls.

It is one of the best bird sanctuaries in the nation and is located on the southeast coast of the country, 391 kilometres from Colombo. Kumana and Yala National Park are adjacent.
