Working Your Workout
We all know in today’s world, there is not enough time in the day to get everything done. Most people work long hours at jobs, then come home to families with active lives of their own. Parents struggle enough trying to get in family time with all of the extra-curricular activities their kids are involved in. With the ever-growing struggle to get through the day, when is there time or energy to workout?

Attacking Autoimmune Life With a Fitness Mind
The dictionary describes fitness as a general state of good health, usually as a result of exercise and nutrition. That is most likely the reality for anyone looking to start a fitness regimen; however, my reasons go even beyond that.

Get Ripped Beach Ready Body While Training at Home
Every year guys are struggling to get that ripped look to amaze everybody on the beach. But the problem is that almost all of them fail year after year. There are just two reasons for that: 1) Wrong attitude about training; 2) Ineffective training program. And the good news is it’s easily fixable, it just requires a little bit of consistent action from you.

Have You Figured It Out Yet?
Aargh! What's wrong with me? Why can't I be like the rabbit that keeps going 'til I reach MY happy place? Wait! What? You too? I do well for a week with exercising, and then BOOM! Plantar Fasciitis! No problem! Google floor exercises! But, this is not how I pictured it!

What I Eat in a Day to Stay Healthy. Top Story - August 2017.
I have never shared my fitness journey on my blog before. If I am being honest, I wasn’t 100% sure that I could do it. I also never liked photos of me, so posting monthly pictures of my progress was my worst nightmare. I am really proud of my progress because I made a lifestyle change. I didn’t do one of those crazy diets or use weight-loss pills. I simply changed my diet, went to the gym more and most importantly, was consistent. I definitely didn’t see results right away—it took a few months—but once my clothes starting fitting better, I wanted to keep going.

I Ghosted the Gym and I Am OK with It
I just cancelled my gym membership, for the second time. That moment when you are greeted by a bouncy smiley receptionist is almost enough to make you walk out or possibly try and get on a treadmill in your work clothes to avoid declaring you are leaving them like a mid- life crisis. I had to bite the bullet and fess up, this relationship is over and not doing much for me (mainly because I will do anything to avoid going in the first place).

Avoiding the Gym Fear
Starting a gym can be intimidating and downright scary, especially if you don't know what to expect. I am not a personal trainer nor am I a professional sports anything, I just like to work out. I enjoy the thrill of it and I like the way that it makes me feel. Your first encounter is going to leave you re-thinking your decision to get healthy and fit.

54 and Not Afraid to Take Off My Shirt
Let me just say, I love being 54! The old adage is "you're only as old as you feel." That goes for physically as well as mentally. It's great to have a youthful mindset, however, if you're out of shape and overweight, you're missing out on all of the great opportunities your mind has planned for you. Let's be honest, missing out on memorable experiences because of something you have the power to change would just suck.

Fit for Parenthood
This is the season for raising money for the Cancer charity Cancer Research UK by running, jogging or walking the Race for Life. Just over a week ago I took part in this great cause with my nine-year-old daughter. As well a being a worthwhile cause, another thing that was very apparent was how many children were taking part in the race. One way of getting fit is definitely with children.

Hey, You're Making Me Uncomfortable
The atmosphere inside the gym is intoxicating — but in the best way. Every day when I walk into the gym, I see a whole lot of people, gathered in one place, pushing themselves to new limits. And while it’s extremely unlikely that any two people are doing the exact same thing, everyone is there for the same reason: to better themselves. Talk about inspiration, right?
