Healing in LA, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away
Los Angeles is so special to me. You have the mountains and the hills, the ocean, cafes, the limelight of Hollywood, the history of freedom and equality, in particular, California was the first state to adopt rights for the disabled and I have to say, in Los Angeles, I feel the most at home and the most free. I know these feelings stem far beyond this lifetime, because from the moment I landed in Los Angeles for the very first time, I felt at home. As a person with a degree in theater design and creative writing, and experience in film editing of course LA has the Hollywood appeal but my love for the city, far exceeds those highlights.

All in a Day’s Work
No matter how long I've been working with Spirit, I am constantly amazed by the daily miraculous occurrences and life lessons I am lucky enough to be a part of. Just the other day, I was doing a reading and the client wanted mediumship, which was such a relief because there were family members who were in heaven and in line, in the room with me all at the same time, wanting to speak with her. To my surprise, most of the family members waiting for her were speaking fluent Russian and Yiddish. Before I even had time to concern myself over how I would understand them, my main guide, Robin, stepped forward, making her presence felt much more than usual, to the point that I could see her the same as if I were looking at someone here in the physical world. She was wearing a beautiful, baby blue, full-length dress. Her long, chocolate brown hair was flowing back off her neck, as if wind was blowing in front of her, and something that I rarely see, her wings were stretched at full-length, hovering over everyone in Spirit, and myself. Because of her strong presence and her blue dress, I knew she was going to serve as a translator. Blue is the color that relates to the throat chakra and communication. She then eloquently began speaking fluent Russian and Yiddish to converse with the loved ones in Spirit. There was a grandmother, father, grandfather, uncle, and aunt in Spirit. The client was actually on the phone, so I had to explain to the client that the brief pauses were to allow my guide, Robin, to converse with them and then translate to me.

Existential Thought
Ever since I was very young I can recall being exhaustingly contemplative. I seemed to always be wondering about things that didn’t concern most other kids my own age. I felt the need to know the nature of our maker and our role in the universe. Was God just lonely and, on a whim, decided to create the universe, all of the stuff floating in it, and us just so that he would have some companionship? With an infinite imagination the size of God’s, couldn’t he think up something better than us with all of our imperfections and self-righteous biases?

Imagine Not Being Homeless
Imagine being two years old. Or your two-year-old child traveling with a single parent through -2 degrees chill factor in the night, down dimly lit avenues of the treacherous Bronx NYC. I can still feel the sharp winds through my royal blue ski mask, pinching my nose, and watering my eyes as we make our way “home.”

Tarot Deck Testimony: 'Dreams of Gaia Tarot' Review
To seek, to feel, to grow, and to heal—this is the foundational philosophy of Ravynne Phelan’s vibrant, surreal tarot deck, titled The Dreams of Gaia Tarot (2017). The simplistic purpose interwoven with the art is present with every tarot spread. There are enticing colors, carefully placed symbols, and a strong connection with the natural and supernatural realms. I purchased the deck around the time it was released. It was the second tarot deck in possession, but the first deck I attempted spells with because this deck truly encouraged a genuine exploration of many facets of the self. Anyone into tarot magick will find this deck is easy to work with and easy to handle, but it will also target your inner truth relentlessly. This tarot deck is for those who are ready to heal from past trauma, face the strengths and weaknesses of their personal reality, and address the true level of their emotional, mental, and spiritual maturity.
