Life Challenges
Complaining is something we all do from time to time. Something happens that didn’t go our way and we complain about it. We didn’t get the job. We gained too much weight. We have a bad hair day. Our car broke down. We got a flat. We can’t pay all of the bills. Someone said something about us. Someone did something to us that we didn't like. We got hurt. We told someone to do something and they didn’t and the situation turned out bad. We complain about all these things. It’s human nature. We all want things to go the way we expect them to. Things happen, that’s life. It’s all about how you handle the situation that shows your character and cultivates positive energy and attitude.

Are Things Prettier in Pink?
Positive versus negative. Who would win in a fight? I spend a lot of my life thinking about energies in the world and the emotions that we're surrounding ourselves with. Someone who is depressed might be surrounded by dark emotions on dark days, but they're capable of all the positive emotions too.

No Regrets in Life, Just Lessons
We all have done things that we are ashamed of. We all have made bad decisions and choices. Indeed, each of us has long lists of regrets. We regret not only the things that we did but equally the things we didn’t do. We often wonder how life would have been if we had taken that risk, if we had said yes to that opportunity, and if we had made a different choice. We mourn our wasted time and opportunities. We can all agree that the feeling of regret sucks. However, it is not what happened—or did not happen—that hurts us, but rather our thinking and interpretation of the past.

The Happiness Trap
First let me start off by saying that I truly am one of the most positive, kind hearted people. I think that the world is a beautiful place, despite all of the ugly things people do and the unfortunate things we can’t control. However, the past few years, living with this mindset has been so mentally exhausting. I have been constantly tested and internally conflicted. I am trying to keep my goggles rose colored, while simultaneously trying to figure out who I am supposed to be after going through the trials and tribulations life keeps throwing my way, as well as the anxiety/depression I naturally live with. How can there be so much darkness and sadness under something that’s so determined to be happy ?

Not Today
I will not be manipulated by your lies today. For it has been too long since I have heard the truth from your mouth. Too many times, you have conned me out of my hard-earned money and provided me with false promises of success. You told me that this amount of money and education would lead me down a path of prosperity. Only to discover, that path dropped me off at a dead end. Now, I must re-trace my steps to keep from falling.

What We Think—Becomes
What is manifestation? In short, it is the embodiment of our thoughts: what we think; becomes. Some people can manifest things more strongly and quickly than others. However, what we all have in common is the power we put into “negative manifestations.”

Not so Beautiful?
I scrolled through Pinterest ideas on his computer barely knowing how to work a new MAC laptop (I know, I know), accidentally scrolling in and out of Pinterest boards, trying hard NOT to save some stranger's pictures (hehe). I continued to run through ideas of the perfect industrial-like table that we possibly could build (although I wasn’t too sure how it would come out..ha-ha). After diligently trying NOT to exit out of a million tabs he had up on his screen, I somehow exited my search and went straight into his Pinterest home (this devil computer).

How to Find Your Motivation
Motivation is defined as the desire to do things other than lay in bed all day. Motivation means you are doing something to better your existence. If you write down your goals, there is no truth that you will attain what you write down. Sometimes, some goals fall through. Sometimes you are not always successful. But motivation propels you to at least try. Not having any motivation can be painful. This is what marijuana can do to some people when used to excess without being used properly in a medicinal way. Written goals spell out what needs to be accomplished. It can be set monthly, for example, to have written goals out for every month.
