Financial Freedom
The first time I saw Lynn Richardson she was a guest on one of my favorite YouTube channels. The channel is called, "His and Her Money." She caught my attention by making me laugh. I enjoy her sarcasm and blunt way of speaking. When coach Richardson really gets into what she is saying she starts to sound like a preacher and anyone listening cannot help but feel a strong desire to say, amen sister.

Top 20 Books of 2020
Back in 2013 I gave myself the challenge of reading one book a week, which I greatly enjoyed and was able to repeat in 2014, but then life got in the way. I moved from London to Glastonbury, got married, and set up a theatre company with my husband Stephen Cole, His & Hers Theatre Company; for years we have been incredibly busy with performances and modelling, amongst other things, but then everything changed, like it did for most people in the performing industries, with the pandemic. Although we have carried on performing and modelling online, and in person during the months when it was possible, I was also able to read a whopping 54 books, most of which had been on my to-read list for ages, some of which came in as gifts, some of them even written by fellow writer friends.

What If You Are the Monster?
I was reading an article this week about "The Monster At the End Of This Book." If you've never read it, you should. It turns 50 this year. It's fabulous. Sure, it's a kid's book but it's still fabulous. Grover from Sesame Street finds out that there is a monster at the end of his book. He gets scared and comes up with more and more complicated ways to prevent the reader from turning pages, hoping to not get to the end of the book. Of course, at the end, it turns out that Grover IS the monster at the end of the book.

Alchemy for Blind Boys and Men who Don't Like Gold
I reread The Alchemist this year and added it to the list of things that were going right. Below that list is another one far longer. Call me a pessimist. To fold the list in half as one does a jack knife would produce no more than a prick of a blade, and a long flat handle carved from elm—sturdy.

Tuesdays with Morrie Review: Lessons When Death Awaits
I read Tuesdays with Morrie as a 14-year-old. I reread it when I was 16. Then once again, now, when I am 21. This is a book that has stayed with me – I have underlined paragraphs that have settled in my heart, I have done the crime of folding the pages that were too good to be read only once, and I have left a sob mark on the pages that have left me in tears.

Dear Martha,
Dear Martha, I am well underway in my second week working through Martha Stewart’s Organizing, and I have some feelings. There were a number of tasks this week that involved spending money. I just couldn't swing that at this juncture. I did take to heart many of your other suggestions and I begrudgingly report that my life feels somewhat enriched. Outside of your out of touch suggestions that only wealthy people need to enjoy their piles of money, your organization tips are proving to be very beneficial.
