10 Ways to Cope with Current Times
As a socialist organizer and DSA - Democratic Socialists of America - member, I have chosen to dedicate my life to fighting for the working-class; that means fighting for anti-racist, anti-colonialist, feminist, democratic, working-class centered issues. However, a lot of what I do can become overwhelming and exhausting quickly. Sometimes just witnessing what is happening can be enough.

A Melting Pot of Ideas
The development of tools to advance our abilities beyond the bounds of traditional human capability has been one characteristic that has allowed us to flourish as a species. Although other species of animals have been found to conduct themselves similarly, that is using tools to enhance one’s ability to sustain their life, it should be safe to say that no other species has created or utilized tools in the magnitude we have as a species. It is this ability to quickly create and implement tools that will benefit not only us as an individual but as a species altogether which in turn allows us an adaptative advantage in the realm of existence. As we continually adapt to the challenges that face us as a species, we must remember the best way to effectively find ourselves in a better global human civilization will be to adapt the concept of a humanity’s problem repository into mainstream utilization.

Lessons from Quarantine
We certainly live in a strange time. In the past couple of months, I was supposed to finish my last semester in college, go on a memorable graduation trip, move to New York City, and start to face the reality of a young professional in a vibrant metropolitan area trying to make it on her own. Instead, I have been living in the Florida suburbs since March when my classes were moved online, and the highlight of my day has been seeing neighbor walking a little cheerful black Pomeranian on a pink leash, at least 6 times a day.

Tips for Dealing with Unemployment and the COVID-19 Outbreak
Hello everyone, I hope you are all staying safe during this crazy, scary, and confusing pandemic. Most of us have never experienced anything like this before, and because of that there is a lot of confusion as far as how to handle every day life now that there are so many people who are out of work, and because so many people are out of work one of the most frustrating issues financially for most people right now is getting their unemployment. I am one of those people, I've logged thousands of calls and emails trying to get my issues with unemployment resolved, and that got me thinking. How many other people are looking for solutions to issues they're having with their unemployment? Turns out there are about 30 million Americans currently out of work due to COVID-19. Seeing that number made me feel terribly for others in my situation, waiting for unemployment to resolve their issues if they checked the wrong box on their initial application, if they put a comma in the wrong place, who knows. Something happened that delayed you from getting your unemployment, so I thought I would share a few of the different methods I tried that got me the best results for getting someone to help you with your unemployment. I know I can't be the only one that feels like they're screaming into the void with every "due to the high volume of calls waiting, we can't take your call at this time".

Moving Forward
You see things are not always the way they seem right but we always have these thoughts that create these plot twists that always seem to spiral out of control. As if the car is driving on its own already. Often we let these moments just pass us by but sometimes we stay on them for so long that two hours just passed by while you were thinking of this one thought that just led you to think of these other thoughts and now you've lost yourself in thought.

Getting Back on a Horse
I just read a blog by a woman a little younger than I am, but middle-aged nonetheless, who wrote about the courage it took her to go back to school at her age and to follow her dreams. While I respect how challenging it was to her, it seemed sad to me that something so common place should take so much courage and that she would feel so much resistance in her path. I know that such obstacles exist, especially for many women, whose dreams get pushed aside for more important things, like raising a family.

I empower queens
Hello, My name is Consuela. And I’m a very Beautiful confident plussize Model, I love to empower other plussize women in the world and teach them that Loving the skin your In is very important. Years ago growing up in the city of Baltimore Maryland, it was a very Hard time for me. being a fairly chunkier female then all the other girls in my class, And we all know what it’s like being the OutKast of the group. See I was never really into the big crowds anyway, But a lot of our school functions required such. I loved wearing dresses and lipgloss was my favorite. Some days I would sneak my moms eye shadow here and there. I would get bullied also laughed at daily by other kids about my size and wearing makeup. But one particular day I said when I get to school this wi be the last time I be made fun of, because I’m beautiful and I’m gonna be a model. And I will let all the other bigger girls know to hold their heads high and smile because they are beautiful. And we all should be lifting one another up not tearing eachother down. Also we may be biggerin size but we love, just as much as the smaller girls do. And here it is years later I’m doing what I dreamed of doing and I’m very thankful for it. I mentor and guide other BBW women. We are queens no matter how big nor small we love with our hearts and think with our minds. I empower queens and kings to be great and always be mindful of other’s feelings. And most of all Respect goes a long way and love brings us peace. Each and everyday is a new agenda for me, Because once my feet hit the floor I already know I’m gonna shine bright like a diamond. I look in that mirror when I’m preparing my makeup, and I say these words girl your so beautiful. An everyday reminder, that no matter what no one else may think or feel my confidence lies within myself. And as long as you learn to love yourself nothing negative can compare. It’s like starring out at the ocean watching the waves slowly ripple by, and the sun slowly setting. That’s a beautiful scenery, with an entire world of peace. Exactly how your mind feel when your confident and love yourself without any validation from others, because you know. Unconditional love you will always give yourself, respect because you know that’s what you deserve. And Honesty Because it lies within you ! I am a beautiful model because I’m a confident woman, and you are a queen that’s beautiful and can be anything you desire to be. So take life by the hand and follow your Deams. It took me sometime to realize these things, but you will get it. A lot of us look for comfort in others, so we dont how to be alone for a while, to learn to embrace our own beauty and love ourselves. But as times go by you have no choice but to understand that you are your biggest team player. And once you except that main fact you become confident. That’s what happened to me and I became unstoppable. No matter what anyone said nor felt I know I was a queen and I am beautiful. I take pride in loving myself, because I don’t have to seek that confirmation, not knowing if it’s legitimate or not. So I say to everybody that has a rainy day or feeling blue pick yourself up walk over to your nearest mirror, an repeat these words softly. I AM BEAUTIFUL AND I KNOW IT! let that be your goal, self reminder. Take a few selfie’s with some makeup up dress casual, and see how fantastic you look. I love the camera, it brightens my day, looking at my beauty gives me more and more confidence,to keep going forward never slip backwards. I love to purchase different jewelry accessories as well, and eyelashes is my favorite. I call it getting dolled up. Because once I’m finished with my hair, the makeup etc. I come out looking like a beautiful plussize Barbie doll. And the compliment’s make me feel so overjoyed. So you see give yourself a little pampering it’s great for soothing and relaxing, really takes away added stress. And once you see your final results and how beautiful you are your gonna be estactic. Always keep you a makeup kit on hand, so when you decide to feel pretty u always have it. Try different shades and mixes untill you learn your perfect tone & match. Also if you ever considered being a model go for it, always chase your dreams never stop. You never know what may awaits you out there. One day it would be nice to see you on the cover of a magazine. Or someone televised show.when it comes to being a beautiful model or Actor your the face. Always remember that so I like to call it give them face. Meaning put your best face on, glamour beauty and the brightest smile. It’s gonna always be someone watching, they are always watching scouting for talent, so be prepared always. Stay focused pay attention to direction and mostly stay beautiful. Never show fear always be ready because it could be your day. We never know when our big break may come. so we must stand on what we are signing up to do. Cherish every moment you have cause modeling comes with success. And as always shine bright like the diamond you are and that your known to be.

Social Distancing 101: New Experiences
I am, and have long been, a fan of new experiences. Be that traveling to a far away destination, working up the courage to make friends with a stranger, or picking up a new hobby or skill. I love the thrill of putting myself in a situation where I have to face a fear or push the boundaries of my comfort zone or feel closer to the world and the people around me. I think it's a part of what makes life so magical.
