happiness
Happiness, defined; things that help you find happiness, keep it, and share it with others.
Learning the Art of Self-Love
The idea of personal development is richly steeped in putting the self first. The first step to any growth or inner understanding is always going to begin by learning to truly love the person that you are. We’re not talking about the superficial ideals where a person tells themselves and others how much they mean to themselves. While this intent is ideally noble, it is superficial, it’s saying how much you love yourself without ever taking any action to turn your consciousness inward and really learn and understand who you are. The premise is a nice gesture, but often people will say this aloud a few times in a crowded room and then look around that room for someone to fill the holes inside of them.

How to Find Your Inner Peace
Stress and depression are some of the natural phenomena that most people have to tackle. It could happen because of different things that trigger you and it stops you from feeling happy. In this case, people try different strategies to get over these things—they read lifestyle bloggers, have personal coach sessions, watch Youtube videos and talk to their friends.

Beauty Is Only Skin Deep
I have tried and quickly failed to dignify this article, one that is so close to my heart, with the right introduction. I had so many thoughts when I started writing, but it's getting increasingly tricky to accurately express what's in my mind to a casual reader browsing through for some new content.

Overwhelm Be Gone!
Let's talk about overwhelm. I've had a few friends mention it this past week, as I myself was experiencing it as well. Somehow, it appears to come along with a distinct lack of focus because too many demanding voices are yelling at us simultaneously.

A Case for Minimalism
Jonny was my best friend growing up. He had the fun house in the neighborhood. You know, that one house in every neighborhood where everyone seems to congregate? He had a swing set, a trampoline, an Xbox, and a pool with a hot tub! Everyone loved going over to his house because it always seemed like a party. Jonny, of course, loved all the attention he received from his peers and it made him feel like he was popular. He took his popularity as a token of his importance in the world. The constant stream of visitors led him to believe that his value was derived from how often people asked to come over to his home. This went on for years, until we were juniors in high school. Then, the inevitable happened.

Focus on Change
I am writing this to inspire you and to help me. My head feels very much like a loft full of boxes. Some boxes contain junk that I need to clear out, whilst others may contain fascinating relics of usefulness. I am using this outlet to help get my thoughts on to (digital) paper, because to be quite frank I have no room for any more boxes. My emotion in its current state seems to be defaulted to glum which is far too close to sad for my liking. I want to go on a journey of change allowing my mind to reset itself and desensitise. My sub-conscience mind was created as a child, my parent's mindset was unknowingly passed on to me. My conscious mind hadn't developed enough to filter out the negativity that has now embedded itself into my being. My parents struggled through life and thought money didn't grow on trees blah blah blah.

5 Simple Ways to Be Happy
We often associate happiness with people, success, money, the food we eat, or the stuff we buy. We often find an idol or check our favourite lifestyle bloggers to find the advice to stay motivated and focused. But, in reality, happiness doesn’t come with things, money, or some persons around you. Most of the time we feel alone and empty inside and disappear in the delusions of seclusion despite being around humans, things, money, and stuff. So, what is the exact definition of happiness??

How to Achieve Happiness Through Minimalism
Is there a bigger satire in life than spending your entire life working hard to acquire and own everything in the world, only to die alone, unhappy, and, quite literally, penniless? Definitely not! In that case, why are you so worried about tomorrow, most probably at the expense of today’s happiness?

Living Life Intentionally
Intentional "Don't waste time. You should never be bored; there is always something to do. Don't just waste your day away otherwise next thing you know you've wasted your life." My mom was the mother of 10 and had no time for bullshit. Or cursing. Sorry Mom. And if anyone in the world deserved to have time to waste, it was that saint of a woman. She homeschooled, cooked, cleaned, had vegetable gardens and flower gardens that quite honestly deserved a front page story in Better Homes and Gardens. She not only almost never had any free time, but she barely even had a moment to herself. That woman is a saint and I'm sure she doesn't know what to do with all the free time she now has in heaven. Pretty sure heaven has gardens and she's taken them over and finally gotten her cover story in all the best gardening magazines heaven has to offer. That woman worked harder than anyone I've ever met and she didn't even have a job that paid her for years. That woman did not waste a single moment in her life. Even when she found some time to relax, that time was never wasted. She was more intentional with her time than anyone else I've ever met.

I Get by with a Little Help from My Friends
I’m on a journey. It’s been amazing so far and it will be so in the future too. By amazing I don’t mean that it’s felt good or great all the way, because it really hasn’t at all. It’s been amazing because it’s taken me to where I am today and I’m so grateful for that. I’ve learned a lot on the way.
