Kitten Rescue
Tens of thousands of kittens around the world are born outside "on the streets" every year and many of them find themselves abandoned, often as young as a few days old, by mothers who, sadly, can not care for them for anymore one reason or another. More than likely as not, these orphans suffer from a multitude of afflictions including, but not limited to, malnutrition, dehydration, and/or disease. They can be eaten by predators such as; foxes, coyotes, dogs, and birds of prey, be infested with many types of internal and external parasites, or be exposed to extreme temperatures which, left unrescued.... Kills. Too many die due to these tragedies without ever being discovered.

She's Furious, But She's Magical
The day began with a bang as Princess leaped up, screaming bloody murder. The perfect amount of enthusiasm for the perfect amount of cat. At 16 pounds, Princess was a large black and white fur ball. Her realization of the audacity of her situation made her leap up in indignation.

Here we go again. It's that time of year for adults to dress up as their favorite super hero or villain. It's a fun time for kids, too, to go outdoors and do trick or treating. Ms. Kitty Fit’s by Billi Lynn Holt She is still hanging on through much adversity in her life, Ms. Kitty, is an aged female feline of 15 years but you could not figure it to be because of her delicate size. Ms. Kitty is a longhair Maine Coon breed. She is not the typical size nor has a sour temperament for a Main Coon cat. Her physical weight is under nine pounds, and she still resembles her size as a kitten. As she ages without the outward appearance of years of life that has been bestowed on her, Ms. Kitty’s supernatural spirit glows from within and warms our family’s hearts. It’s as if she was destined to remain in our family’s life for a long, long time and not change the purity and innocence of her being. When we initially volunteered to bring her home as an angel of our pet family, she was the runt of the litter and covered in dried excreta. As she was introduced to her new family, into a gentle bath she went, coming out as fresh as a daisy.

Shadow and His Funny ways
When I was a little girl, at the ripe age of nine, I got a cat. It had been some months since my dog got loose and was hit by a car. It was my first pet and I was heartbroken. Every time someone mentioned his name or showed me his picture, I would cry. I lost my first furry best friend.

Meet Murphy. The St.Patrick’s day baby, hence the name. My cousin runs the local rescue where I got him from as a kitten. He was already named when we got him but “Murphy” really did seem to work for him so it stuck.
