Things Pets Do That Make Us Wanna Rip out Our Hair
Animals are a small part of what makes life better, whether it's from a funny online video that make Monday better; or coming home to their adorable faces, there is always something they can do to make us feel better. This is most true for dogs in my household, which currently holds three rescue dogs. They are the highlight of my days and the joy of everything, but things aren't always perfect with them. It amazes me how much trouble these three can get into just in one day, but how they still manage to captivate and steal my heart every day. Nala’s Thoughts
I find myself wondering quite a bit about what my dog (Nala) thinks about. Like what goes on in her head when she finds her bone underneath the couch or when she runs around in circles in the middle of the living room or even when she lays down next to me for the six hours that I work every day. She’s got a big personality, so I’m positive that she doesn’t have boring thoughts. Back in 2004, I was working for Head Start. I had three sons of my own at the time. Their ages were four, three, and one. We had to disinfect all the toys after work. My sons would go home where their grandma and dad would watch them. I had to stay to clean. One night, I had to do that alone without any other staff helping and I was there quite late. It was dark by the time I was done.

In June of last year, my boyfriend and I moved out of our parents homes and into our first place together. It was such an exciting transition, we had lived together in the past but this was a whole new step. We had our own kitchen! We both found jobs in the new town we had moved into, and not long after we started making quite a bit of money. I began asking for a puppy. It took a tad bit of convincing, lots of dropped hints and lots of long debatable conversations, but fiiiinallyyy, he agreed. I spent every day on Kijiji looking and looking until one day I stumbled across the sweetest little doll. I called the number on the A’s right away and they said I could have her. I waited impatiently all week for her, I went out and bought her a bed and some toys. I bought her food and collar. I couldn’t wait.
