Return of the zombie

Baby shoe

Hello!

Where did you go?

How did you return?

Why all the mud,

Child's shoe that disappeared,

Returning a week later?

How did you do that?

Did a fox steal you

And then bury you?

It unsettles me

To know

That a lesser canid,

Vulpes vulpes,

Did take, chew,

Then bury you,

Shoe.

Only to exhume you,

Plant you again

On the doorstep.

Was there a message in

Such madness?

Though glad to know

Where our missing shoe had gone,

I still do not know

Why this strange deed was done.

Are you imbued, now,

With magical powers?

Perhaps you are

A flesh eating

Zombie shoe.

For Fun
