Is it fact or merely fiction? Fact or Fiction explores the myths and beliefs we hold about women's health issues, sexism, gender roles, and the female experience.
When Can Consent Be Withdrawn?
When is it okay for consent to be withdrawn in a given situation? Is there a point of no return where a person must simply follow through? No matter who you speak to, everyone will have a different opinion about this aspect of consent. There are a lot of different opinions based on people's experiences and their upbringing, but the truth is that most people haven't really learned about consent. Most people have not taken the time to learn about and explore the topic. They feel they have a good understanding just because they have a basic understanding. Research actually shows that most people aren't able to correctly identify the finer points of consent. This is why it's important we continue to have the discussions exploring the different aspects of consent. So when can consent be withdrawn?

Why Do Women Hate Other Women?
The mystery as to why women hate other women has been in question for centuries. Women have always been fighting the same battle, and yet we continue to pull each other back while striving to reach the same goals. Why is this so? If women were to work together and lift each other up as opposed to hating one another, we would probably go much farther in the world at a much faster pace. The female gender could make strides like never before. So what gives?

Are You Faded?
Scandalous females will do just about anything for a dollar. *** As much as I like to joke around when I tell my stories, most of them are pretty serious. This story is a little hard for me to tell. It resulted in some PTSD triggers which have affected the rest of my life. This was a very valuable life lesson learned the hard way.

Coffee & Crime
I couldn’t figure out where to place the million jumbled thoughts I have. They swarm in my head like bees that, unlike real ones, refuse to become endangered. One voice in my head told me to write poetry, the jagged kind that doesn’t have to make too much sense or rhyme. Another voice told me to write a book, but that requires telling more of what you would call the “story.”

How Effective is the Morning After Pill?
The "morning after pill" has become one of the most controversial forms of birth control, primarily because it's been called both ineffective and a form of abortion. However, anyone who's really researched reproductive health can tell you that the morning after pill does not cause abortions, nor is it totally ineffective.

Does Juicing Lead to Sex with Strangers?
Last week, I made a post on a local social media “buy, sell & trade” group looking for a second hand juicer so that I could maybe save one from going to the landfill or just put one to use that is sitting collecting dust on a kitchen counter. I like to try to buy used before new if I can – it makes sense to me in a consumer driven, wasteful society.

15 Embarrassing Things Women Do Behind Closed Doors
If only our friends and family knew what we did in the privacy of our own home and behind closed doors. There are times when I do something that is so strange, even though I am completely alone, I still blush with embarrassment at the thought of getting caught. However, even though I often think, "I wonder if other chicks do this," I know with certainty I am not alone. Everybody is weird in their own right and all people have bizarre habits, most that will never be admitted. Perhaps this article will make you feel better, as in you are not alone in your peculiar ways, or perhaps it will have you cringing in guilt and shame. Either way, you are not alone.

The State
The irony was evident: head drowning in a toilet, the burning of acid made its way up my throat and crawled out of my mouth, its bitter kiss lingered on my tongue. Of course, I would've longed to stay in bed. My intervals of heavy heaving came and went in quick succession. There was no time for reflection as the acid creeped its way back up, this time, wrenching last night's dinner from its imprisonment and straight to freedom where it layed dormant, floating on the surface of toilet water.
