Travel from sea to shining sea; by car or by plane, there's plenty to see in the good ole US of A.
Abrams Falls
I am an avid hiker, and one of my favorite places to go is Cade's Cove in the Smokey Mountains National Park. Cade's Cove used to be a small community of homes from the early settlements in the 1700's, and most buildings are still there including churches, homes, mills, barns, and chicken coops. It is nestled within this valley at the foothills of the Smokies with a little stream running around the valley.

Ruby Falls Chattanooga, TN Underground Waterfall
Ruby Falls - Chattanooga, TN It was on a trip back from Jacksonville, Florida in the early spring. I was driving my friend back from his two-year effort working with a major with a financial company down there and it was time to co-pilot him back home...

Winding Roads of the Western U.S. - Pictures of the West
The expansion of the American West was the last to develop. At the same time the buildings reached for the skies in the Big Cities of the eastern development, the West was unexplored. Much due the challenging geographical regions that stood in the way.

Fun In The Sun Southern California
Life can use a little Vitamin Sea. It brings a glow to the skin and a kiss to the nose. In Santa Monica there is not just beautiful beach, but for the fun, thrill seekers an amusement park is at their feet. The park is located on a peer over the ocean and giving amazing backdrops for photos from the rides.

NEVADA - After spending a somewhat lucrative casino filled nightlife in Reno, NV, my wife and I decided to rent a car and meander up the winding dry hills towards the emerald waters of Lake Tahoe. On the map, a historic stop intrigued us through the renowned "Old West" town of Virginia City.

Huron Mountains Adventure, Michigan's Upper Peninsula
I explored the Huron Mountains of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in late September a couple years ago. I drove my Jeep Wrangler in a 200-mile loop that started and ended in Marquette Michigan while stopping to do several day hikes. The northern section of this route from Eagle Mine to Lake Roland below Mount Arvon is forest service roads/trails. I wouldn't recommend trying it without a high clearance 4-wheel drive and a good GPS.
