Observations On Vocal's Excellent Free Prompt Articles
Do Many Creators Use Them?
Introduction
I was looking for something to write about and couldn't see anything immediately in the official and unofficial challenges, so I then went to the Resources Tips page. Unfortunately, this has not been updated in over two years, but that does not mean it is not useful.

While I don't use them every time, they are a great fallback with a lot of great starting points, but there are very few comments and not that many hearts on the articles. The highest has 46 hearts, and the lowest has 7, but it may be that creators drop in and don't leave a comment or heart.
I know I have done that, so I have now left a heart on each piece because I do appreciate them being there. I have used these in the past and may use them today, but I can't track down previous examples, although I always link to the Vocal article where I found the prompt.
Conclusion
Vocal provides a lot of help to create your stories, although it is up to us to promote our stories. Still, Vocal subscriptions, reciprocity and the Facebook Groups can help a great deal.

Difficulties Of Holidays On Vocal
Introduction Last week I had a wonderful week in Alnwick, but tried to keep up on Vocal, although my time was less than I normally have, plus a little more difficult because I was using a ten-year-old laptop with a faulty keyboard (the space bar does not always register, meaning I have to keep going back to separate words).

Also, thanks for the FB groups link. I am having some silly trouble with FB and it got me frustrated, so I've not been there much. But I agree with you that the FB groups are useful and nice to virtually mingle with other Vocal members. :D
I have checked the resources just a few times, but I never saw these prompts. Perhaps I just overlooked them. I checked a couple of the prompt articles now and I liked them very much. So, I'll be using them. As I was reading, I mentally had ideas that aligned with the prompts. Thank you, Mike! You are always on top of the game. Has your problem been solved? The one about not being able to publish new stories?
I knew about the Resources pages, but I had forgotten about the prompts. I should check them out sometime. I'm starting to run a bit dry on things to write that aren't bigger projects. I can't tell you when I've clicked on resources. It's been forever. So I don't use these prompts, but it's extremely helpful to be reminded that they are there. It has not been updated in two years? I also did not know that. It's lovely to know that you will be using these prompts. Always nice to know that we will be seeing more from you. This was a very helpful article.
