My Review of the Movie 'Bone Tomahawk'
I heard some great reviews of Bone Tomahawk back in the day. Those reviews were years ago and I had put the movie on my watch list on Netflix a while back. I totally forgot about the movie until recently. My girlfriend and I didn't really have anything to watch and I noticed on Netflix. It was categorized as a horror movie but it looked like a western.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review Shit's All Over 'Day of the Dead: Bloodlines' (2018)
You don't have to read past the spoilers. Don't watch this flaming pile of red hot bloody diarrhea... SPOILERS!!! You know what? I really thought this goddamn movie was going to move beyond the "almost rape" scene at the beginning. I'm fucking serious. I am done, and I mean FUCKING done, with movies that center their plot around rape. But it had me fooled, because the female lead escaped without actually getting raped, and because her rapist was promptly eaten by a zombie. So, I let it go. I shouldn't have.

'Halloween' (2018)
He’s no longer dormant.He only knows how to keep moving and to keep killing.And he will kill again unless he’s captured. Exactly 40 years ago the film Halloween, directed by John Carpenter, was released. A milestone in the slasher genre. It was in this film that Laurie Strode (a very young Jamie Lee Curtis) escaped from the psychopath Michael Myers in the nick of time. And so the legend about Myers arose. And now, 40 years later, the followup appears. To my surprise, this is already the 11th movie in the Halloween universe. No idea what happened in the other episodes because I never bothered to watch them. And even though I feared this would simply be a continuation of the same concept (and it sure is) and that I would have a “haven’t-I-seen-this-before” feeling, I have to admit it. I kind of liked this movie.

'Velvet Buzzsaw' (2019) Review (Spoilers)
Velvet Buzzsaw is a movie that popped out of nowhere and had many people excited when first announced in January. What many thought would be an intense gripping thriller is more of a work of satire than a horror movie of any sorts. Though the movie has thriller/horror concepts and scenes it never truly feels like that's what the film is supposed to be.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Train to Busan' (2016)
You know, I have to say, I was expecting this to be the next movie on the zombie bandwagon with a typical "cookie-cutter plot." I was expecting just your typical zombie movie in another language. That, in of itself, would have been fine. But I'm just so fucking sick of the typical zombie movie. Nothing has really impressed me since the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Which, by the way, is my all-time favorite zombie movie and number five on my all time favorite horror movie list. I needed Train to Busan to deliver in a serious way... and it fucking did.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'The Lords of Salem' (2012)
Jesus Christ, Rob. Was that real crack featured in this movie? I need to understand what the fuck you were on. Here's the thing. A lot of people complained about this movie being absolute trash. It did have its problems, but it wasn't half bad. Most of my complaints are in singular scenes that were poorly executed, but not the over all story or cinematography.
