To Be Seen, Not Just Strong
The strongest people are rarely born brave; instead, they learn how to comfort themselves early on. It is not that they don’t need anyone, but rather that when they needed someone most, no one was there. So, they learned to talk to themselves in the darkness, to hold themselves tight on the edge of collapse, and to grit their teeth through the moments when no one responded.
