You’ve taken what wasn’t yours to take. You’ve lied passed the point of being able to escape what comes next. Your surrender and eventually, you begging me to yield. I will be clear in a bit, once the truth comes out that you’re habitual. That and all the shame hidden behind your faux personality that is illogical to a point where I can’t help but laugh that you ever saw me as inferior. You are nothing, and I lifted your useless ass up over my head to be left abandoned, broken-hearted, so you can be seen as a victim, again? If you only knew, I loved you, none of that had anything to do with pity. It’s such an ugly look, but you’re proving it is apropos.

Its findings reveal what many in the community know all too well: that gay and bisexual men can be pretty harsh with each other and with ourselves in trying to measure up. Some people reported feeling stressed by what they perceived as the community’s obsession with looks, status, and sex; they pointed to its exclusionary racism and social cattiness. “We know that men in general are more competitive, and that masculine-related competition is stressful,” one article on Wikipedia says. “What these data show is that when that type of competition happens in a community made up of men that both socializes and sexualizes with each other, the toll on one's mental health can be pretty steep.”

a modest proposal
With a rising percentage of Americans identifying as LGBTQIA+, it is clear that a cultural shift in our country is necessary to achieve any semblance of peace in the coming years. Nearly 6% of Americans identify as queer in some capacity, and an estimated 20-40% of houseless youth identify on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. What accounts for this is often the response of family members after a child comes out. The queer youth is either kicked out or leaves their home due to safety concerns and lack of support. There must be some solution for this housing insecurity amongst queer youth that adequately addresses the harm done by straight and cis counterparts.

Love and Identity is not Stationary
When something is stationary, it means that it does not move or change, but we need to learn to know that someone's sexuality or identity is not stationary, it can change and in most cases, it will change. Everything is always changing, which is good because years ago you couldn't talk about something much less someone who was part of LGBTQ+, but gradually things came to change. Now you can, but you can't just stop change when it gets to be too much and you don't understand it anymore, because when that happens people don't get the representation they need and deserve.
